Canine Communication Dog Training LLC

I'm a seasoned dog owner, but my boy Reggie was a challenge I've never encountered. I rescued him at 8 months (he was a stray running the streets of TX) to then find out through a DNA test that he's a Rottweiler, Belgian Malinois, German Shepherd mix... all working breeds, high energy, very intelligent, who will push you to the limit. I thought I could train him myself, but that could not have been further from the truth. After owning Reg for 7 months, I reached out to Bradley for help. Bradley was recommended to me and from what I read and discussed with him, I thought he would be the perfect fit. I'm extremely grateful and thankful for Bradley's guidance, calm nature, patience, and direct approach. Reggie is not an easy customer, but with Bradley's training, he has become a much more obedient, well-behaved, balanced dog. Reggie was unmanageable at times...very reactive and an overexcited wild child who did not listen or respect me. Bradley taught me the techniques and commands to use and how my reactions and behavior affected Reggie. I have gained valuable knowledge to not only apply with Reggie, but future dogs as well. So happy I took the leap to do this training with Bradley. My dog was resource guarding socks and shoes ultimately leading him to bite a family member. He also struggled to settle down and rest in new environments or around new people. Bradley’s approach of teaching him how to calm himself down via a bed stay was instrumental in my dog’s training and future. Just a few weeks into the training and he was already able to calm his anxiety by himself. A month in and he no longer steals or guards socks. The leash walking, recall, and general obedience are all just major bonuses on top of the behavioral issues being solved. Like many pet owners, I was hesitant about the e-collar usage based on strong opinions I read online. Thankfully, Bradley was really understanding: offering other solutions and explaining the trade offs between different training styles. I decided to keep up with the ecollar approach and I’m so glad I did. It was clearly very effective and did not negatively affect my dog’s personality in any way. My dog clearly understands what’s “right” and what’s “wrong” and the communication between him and I is so much stronger. I can tell he feels happier and more secure as well now that he knows how to be successful and control his impulses more. I no longer stress about taking him places or him guarding socks or him not being able to rest in new environments. Both our lives are better for it and we’re going to get to enjoy so many more things together thanks to this training!

TL;DR: I have two giant, extremely loud dogs and thought I'd never be able to open my windows again. Two other trainers and hundreds of dollars in fencing didn't fix it. Bradley fixed it in a couple of weeks — and my dogs are calmer and happier than they've ever been. Worth every cent. I have a Great Pyrenees and a Giant Schnauzer/Doberman mix. If you know those breeds, you know the problem: they bark. Loudly, and at everything — a car door, a person on the sidewalk, another dog, a leaf. We live in a high-density neighborhood (Shorewood), my neighbors had complained, and I work from home, so I was interrupting my workday dozens of times a day to correct them. I had already worked with two other trainers and gotten to "they'll stop on command," which sounds like progress until you realize you're the one issuing commands every three minutes. I'd also spent hundreds of dollars on fencing changes and sightline blockers that didn't fix it. I found Bradley through E-Collar Technologies' referral network. It mattered to me that whoever I hired was trained to use the collar as a teaching tool rather than just a correction device, and Bradley absolutely is. Within a couple of weeks I went from correcting the barking constantly to barely at all. At this point (about five months in), I almost never have to. But the part I didn't expect is how much happier my dogs are. They understand what's expected of them — what their job is and, more importantly, what it isn't. My Schnauzer/Dobie mix has lost nearly all the anxiety he used to carry. I think he finally understands his role in the family, and he can actually relax. Bradley also helped us with recall, leash manners, basic commands and getting one of my pups to jump in the car on his own (which is important as he's 85lbs). Once the foundation clicked, everything else followed. They've become model dog citizens, and I'm now confident I can handle whatever they throw at me in the future. Bradley's training is worth every cent. He gave me back my open windows, my spring breezes, a backyard my dogs can just be in, and a workday I'm not constantly pulled out of. If you're where I was, hire him.

We have two middle aged dogs who’ve historically been nervous around and occasionally shown aggression towards kids. We came to Bradley in preparation of bringing our own little one home, honestly pretty fearful of how we’d integrate the new baby and our dogs into one safe, cohesive household. Over the course of a few months in one on one training sessions, Bradley taught not just the dogs but most importantly us about establishing clear communication and boundaries, which ultimately led to us being able to work on impulse control. We are now so much more confident in our dogs in really any situation, and they are much happier and thriving with this new understanding. Bradley is great to work with and you can tell he genuinely loves dogs. We are happy to report having a fully integrated dog-baby household :)
