Mikayla has done an amazing job transforming our adopted German Shepherd, Hazel, into the loving dog that she is today. My wife and I had serious doubts about being able to keep Hazel prior to training with Mikayla. Hazel would be reactive to children, some adults, and other dogs, which was a result of her anxiety and nervousness due to her lack of exposure outside the house with the previous owner. Mikayla worked with us to develop a tailored training program that focused on all the behaviors that needed correction. The results are amazing and have exceeded our expectations! Not only was Mikayla able to correct all the concerns we had with Hazel, she also did an amazing job training me and my wife on how to continue developing our relationship with Hazel. We have gone from having to consider giving Hazel away, to gaining an amazing member of the family that we can now take on hikes, breweries, and play dates with other dogs. My dog Willow (2 1/2 year old boxer) and I have been working with Mikayla in one-on-one sessions since February 2024. She has really helped solidify Willow’s basic commands like “heel” and “stay”. With Mikayla’s help taking Willow for a walk has become so much fun and easier. Mikayla has also helped us through e-collar training and now working on off leash training. We have loved working with Mikayla.

We are thrilled with how the training has gone for our golden. Mikayla worked with our pup in one-on-one sessions as well as a Board and Train program. Our dog loves working with her, and now that he is home, he is a pleasure to walk and be around. His behavior is much improved! It’s so nice to have the tools she gave us so that we can keep up with all the positive developments and help make the relationship with our family dog the best it can be! Mikayla is amazing! We would and have recommended her to anyone needing training for their pup. Our Berner, Dodger, was not our first dog but he was our first puppy and honestly, we didn't know what we were getting ourselves into. We found Mikayla searching online and from the very first visit, we were so glad we did. She reassured us, calmed our emotions, and began the process of giving us and Dodger the tools we all needed to be happy and successful. Dodger is loving and goofy but also very stubborn. She had him for board and train and he intially defied her efforts to train him to heel so she extended his stay a couple more days until she was satisfied with his progress. He is very obedient now and loving life. We don't live in Colorado anymore but still recommend Mikayla to local friends and even have dropped Dodger off for a stay when we were traveling back to the area. Mikayla is an incredible trainer and a great person. We feel blessed to have crossed paths with her.
