Mikayla was wonderful when training Oslo as a puppy, starting with the basics and eventually expanding his training to off-leash work and improving his recall as he got older. She always took the time to explain her training methods, provided informative feedback, and sent detailed follow-up instructions so I could continue working with Oslo at home. It’s clear that Mikayla truly cares about both her clients and their pets. Even after training sessions, she continues to be available and answers any questions I may have, which has been incredibly helpful. Success Story: While hiking this summer with Oslo and my other dog, Atlas, Oslo encountered a rattlesnake. Thankfully, he was wearing his e-collar, and I was immediately able to call and signal him back to me. Oslo listened without hesitation and left the snake alone, keeping himself safe and avoiding a bite. I truly believe the recall and e-collar training Mikayla provided made all the difference in that situation. Without the training and foundation she gave Oslo, I fear the outcome could have been much worse. I’m incredibly grateful for the skills she taught him and for the continued support she provides.

Mikayla and Alyssa have been training my dog Ruby since I got her, and I can't recommend them enough. I rescued Ruby knowing she'd be high energy, but when I first brought her home I was honestly overwhelmed. She pulled hard on the leash, had energy for days, and I couldn't figure out how to communicate with her. My whole goal was to be able to take her off leash for hiking, walking, and biking, all the stuff my lifestyle revolves around, and I wasn't sure we'd get there. Mikayla and Alyssa helped me understand what actually motivates her. Talking to her more, letting her sniff, things I never would have thought of on my own. Now I can take her off leash with confidence anywhere we go, and can play with other dogs while understanding their boundaries now! They're also incredibly easy to work with. Any time I had a question, I'd shoot them a text and always got a response. I travel for work a lot, and they've been super flexible with boarding. I cannot recommend boarding with them enough! I get so many updates, she gets field trips, and I get to pick her up knowing her training is maintained and even stronger! They've built such a strong relationship between Rue and I. Highly, highly recommend.

Mikayla has been an incredible support to our anxious pup. She has supported us in a board and train, various boardings, and private training sessions. She has fantastic insight and skill, and has truly helped build on our previous foundation of training for our pup. She focuses on positive reinforcement, but also how to appropriately utilize various tools when needed. Our dog has severe anxiety and Mikayla has taught us some priceless skills to help support her through her countless triggers. Our pup has come a long way and we have had the good fortune of finding some excellent dog trainers in the past. Mikayla has been excellent in her ability to understand what we have previously learned, reinforce where appropriate, and offer targeted alternative approaches that she believes may be helpful. We have appreciated how great it has been to work with her!

We couldn’t be happier with our experience! From the very beginning, she gave our puppy all the tools and training needed to become an amazing family dog. She not only trained our pup, but also gave us the knowledge and resources to continue building on that foundation at home. We also use her boarding services whenever we travel, and it’s such a huge relief knowing our dog is in the best hands. She is incredibly well cared for, safe, and receives so much love and attention while we’re away. Having that peace of mind is truly priceless. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for an exceptional trainer and a trustworthy place to board their dog!
