Thank you for taking the time to detail your frustrations in trying to communicate with us to get your questions answered. At this time we do not have a receptionist but do our best to return calls within the same business day. As mentioned in our Outgoing Message, the answers to many of the most common questions can be found on our web site. We do not have an outdoor play area for our Camp dogs which is one of the reasons are play groups are kept small (7-8 dogs) to ensure ample space for safe play which is monitored by two Camp Attendance, at least one of which is a Trainer. There is ample space outside for on-leash pottying for Camp dogs who request it. Many Camp dogs do bathroom inside and we utilize the same cleaning and disinfecting products that your veterinarian and human hospital does to ensure everyone’s safety. Having run Camp for over 17 years, there have been only a few isolated cases of Camp impacting a pooch’s house-training. Our Camp is utilized by a number of local veterinarians and dog training colleagues as well as recommended by a Board Certified Behavior Vet to her Charlottesville clients. <br><br>We have 4 Nationally Certified Trainers on staff and in an effort to ensure the greatest training productivity collect data from perspective clients to help us assign the trainer with the most experience in the training needed and greatest scheduling availability. This should not have taken 4 phone calls. Moreover, I am available to answer client’s questions and am investigating why I had no knowledge of your request. Clearly, we dropped the ball not only communicating with you but with each other. I apologize for the effort you devoted in trying to work with us and completely understand why this led you to choose another training organization.
