When I started Canine Cadre classes with Lenny, my standard Australian Shepard was just turning 5 months. She’s now 8 months, and we’ve finished basic obedience and we do distraction class and puppy social still. When I say this was a game changer, I mean these classes were a game changer! I had hit a wall with at home training on my own with my girl, and Lenny had the solutions I was missing. The only thing that I’m upset about is that I didn’t start sooner. Lenny has said once that training is a full time job and for Aussie’s that’s sure the case, but I delight in the work we’ve done and working on them until we can’t get it wrong. The best part were the games we introduced to help tire her out! They’re now her all time favorite games. I know we’ll be going for a round two soon!
