Canine by Design

Mason is a highly qualified professional trainer.. he answered every question my wife and I had . He demonstrated how to work wiith our maltidoodle, Cocoa, and supervise and corrected our own efforts in a very positive and helpful way. With Masons help our Coco now sits, lies down and comes when called. She stays in place when visitors come to the house and no longes chases or lunges at neighbors, bikes, or skate boards. Overall she is a much better behaved and enjoyable member of the family.

We lived our experience with canine by design and specifically Kota. We sent our 8 week puppy to her for 3 weeks. Our dog came home crate trained and potty trained. We sent him back to Kota at a year to give him obedience training for 2 weeks. They let me pick the length and were realistic about what could be achieved in that amount of time. We received weekly emails both times that were so full of details explain what Typo, our dog, had learned. They sent videos and pictures through with these weekly emails. Kota also had a reading session with my family once she brought Typo home to us and then a follow up training here at our house within a month of bringing him home. We love Kota so much and so does Typo. Since his training she has boarded him a few times and we have the same experience! He comes home fine tuned on his skills he learned. Also Kota let us decide what we wanted to work with him on. She let us pick the things that were important to us! I would 10/10 recommend Kota and canine by design!

We just got our 6-month-old Samoyed, Babushka, back from her four-week training with Kota at Canine by Design, and we couldn’t be more thrilled! From the start, Kota's dedication to Babushka's development was evident. Every week, we received a detailed report card highlighting her progress, and access to a shared Google Drive, filled with photos and videos of Babushka’s adventures, kept us connected to her journey. I found myself checking multiple times a day, eager to see her progress and photos of our sweet fur baby. Kota’s personalized approach and care truly exceeded our expectations. She not only took care of Babushka’s training but also her dietary needs... She also showered her with love, making sure she felt right at home and at ease. Now that Babushka is back with us, we are astounded by her behavior and everything she learned. Thank you, Kota, for the incredible transformation and for loving our girl just as much as we do!

We did the 4 week training program for our 2 year old American Bully, Crixus. We worked with trainer Jasmine who is a very professional person and loves her job. This program was a game changer for my family. Crixus had a lot of difficulty pulling on the leash and would get very anxious outside when he was around dogs and people. This became an overwhelming situation, we looked at many places but Canine By Design was the best one that fit everything we were looking for. Plus, it is a place where they truly love and care about dogs, and you can tell they like what they do! I mention this because in many places I looked, I found myself having a hard time because people tend to be very judgmental about my dog's breed and don't like working with them. Jasmine and Crixus got along great. She gave him a lot of love and helped us a lot so he could learn very good manners and obedience both outside and inside the house. I feel like it helped us have a much closer relationship with Crixus, we are so excited about all the changes he has had and how much we can now enjoy our outings together. I don't know how to explain how grateful we are and I would definitely recommend this program!

We cannot express how great Canine by Design is. Our dog Hank participated in the two week board and train program with Kota! Kota is so incredible and loves Hank as if he is her own. She totally transformed Hank to be more confident, obedient, and less anxious. We have seen a complete change in the way he goes for walks, sees other dogs in public, and obeys commands like sit, place, come, and more. Kota and Ashley have also boarded Hank a few times since his training and he always comes home confident and happy. It was really hard for us to leave him and trust that someone could take care of him, but needless to say, I wouldn’t chose anyone else to watch our Hank. Kota and Canine by Design have blessed us in more ways that we could imagine!
