I wish I had scheduled a consult with Judy for every dog I had adopted in the past. Her office is located in a quiet neighborhood that felt perfect for training a dog. Throughout the session, Judy demonstrated incredible insight into canine behavior and provided the guidance I needed to help my highly reactive rescue dog Gigi. Beyond Judy’s knowledge and experience, there’s something about her aura that made Gigi befriend her instantly which I’ve never seen her do with strangers.

I have known Judy for 15 years, taking puppy classes with her with a dog who turned out to have a beautiful temperament, in part due to the training that we received from her. I have contacted her over the years for various issues with dogs and always find her to be very helpful and knowledgeable and to give advice that is useful and practical. I most recently contacted her for my dog Buddy - a dog who had been returned to the shelter many times and labeled "feral". He is a challenging dog, and although he had become manageable I was struggling to move forward with him. Judy helped me to understand his reative behaviors and gave me real life solutions which are working great with Buddy. I find myself always going back to the things that she has said, and doing what she has taught is giving me more confidence with Buddy as his behaviors improve. Finally, Judy truly wants you to succeed with your dog. She loves dogs and wants you to love your dog. In working with Judy and Buddy I find that I am appreciating and focusing on his good qualities and although he might not ever have the temperament of that first puppy 15 years ago, he's a pretty good dog and I can love him.
