Canine Academy

We have a rescue dog from the Bahamas who has some issues. She fears strangers and new places to the point where she would panic going on walks. We started with a private session then completed basic obedience lessons and a board & train program at Canine Academy. They use positive reward & kindness to train. Bean now loves walks! She no longer gets frightened when she hears a dog bark or sees a new person. She’s more comfortable around other dogs and happier all around. I plan to continue working with them through doggie daycare to keep her socializing with other dogs. I want to stress that the staff uses positive rewards! They are patient, careful and kind. They tailor training to each dog’s needs. I would highly recommend them.
