⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ because 5 simply isn’t enough!! OUR CHILD HAS BEEN REFORMED. LOL We truly cannot say enough amazing things about Cane Sportivo! We are eternally grateful for everything they have done for our fur baby, and we are SO ridiculously proud of our child. We dropped off our sweet, loving, happy, absolutely spazz of a baby for their 3-week Puppy Board & Train, and when we say she came home a WHOLE different dog… WE MEAN IT. Same ball of energy but with MANNERS. STRUCTURE. CONFIDENCE. SELF-CONTROL. Before training, living with a hyperactive puppy sometimes felt like negotiating with a tiny furry boss baby who had absolutely no intention of honoring the terms of the agreement. Now we actually understand how to redirect all that energy, communicate clearly, establish boundaries, and create structure in a way that works for ALL of us. And honestly, one of the BEST parts of this entire experience? Amber and Shane didn’t just train our puppy… they trained the parents too. They took the time to teach us the ropes and explain the “why” behind everything. They showed us just how much consistency, patience, structure, repetition, and follow-through matter. They gave us the tools and confidence to continue everything our baby learned once we got home because training doesn’t stop when the three weeks are over. Their Puppy Board & Train also includes an in-home follow-up, and we absolutely LOVE the reassurance of knowing their support doesn’t simply end when your dog comes home. Having that continued guidance means so much to us because our goal isn’t just to have a “trained dog” for a few weeks we want to build a healthy, structured lifetime routine for our baby and for ourselves as dog parents. Amber and Shane, THANK YOU for loving on our baby, putting in the hard work, answering our questions, teaching us the ropes, supporting us as dog parents, and showing us that having a high-energy puppy does NOT mean living in pure chaos 24/7. Finding Cane Sportivo and sending Elvis there for the three week train and board program was absolutely the best decision for both of us. He has come home a different dog and just continues to amaze me. His problem was barking, pulling on leash and being very reactive (to anything). I can now take him on walks, meet other people while walking and he doesn’t react. Amber was so kind and patient with him (and with me). I just found them on the Internet and called and spoke with her and my mind was made up. She is calming, caring and doesn’t let anything ruffle her feathers. I knew I would miss him but I also felt like he was in good hands. I would use their services again in a heartbeat and I strongly recommend them to anyone with a “difficult” dog. I think my problem was Elvis had never learned healthy commands - even though he had previous training - both in the home and while boarding. I was beginning to think I would never get him under control but Amber was able to accomplish that in three short weeks. She has since been to the house to see how he is doing and said for me to call if I ever need anything. This facility was exactly what was needed for me and Elvis. I was so fortunate that I found them. By the way, Elvis now really enjoys going to Home Depot and walking ! 😜

Amber with Cane Sportivo is a professional in every sense of the word! She is wonderful to work with and she knows what she is doing! She has a quiet, calm, confident presence that causes the dogs to not only listen to her but love her as well! When we dropped our dog, Shadow, off for board and train, she was an absolute wild child! She knew basic commands but only did them when she wanted to. She had boundless energy and no control over her impulses. She created a lot of stress in our household. The transformation during her time with Amber is nothing short of amazing! She is still the happy, energetic dog as before but she now knows how to control her energy and put it towards working, which was the reason for getting her into the first place. She responds to commands immediately now and does them despite distractions around her. Amber was sure to keep us updated on her progress during training and upon pickup, spent time showing us what to do with her. She even came to our home a week after pickup to help with any issues or questions we had. Amber spent the time to not only find out what we needed out of Shadow but she also took time to get to know Shadow so she could tailor her training. Having Amber and Cane Sportivo train Shadow was the best decision we could have made for our dog!
