We are no longer stressed to take her anywhere. All concerns were thoroughly addressed during her 30 day stay with Canurdogdothis. They even offer follow up training sessions and an open line of communication after the training for questions. If you are considering seeking professional help for your dog we highly recommend contacting Steve sooner than later.

We enrolled our 6 month old at the time, lab puppy in the 30 day board and train program. He was chaotic at home. Would not listen, stole food from the pantry and was out of control. Our now 7 month old pup came home today and he is a new dog. His personality is even different. My kids can play with him without being knocked over or jumped on. He actually listens to commands like sit, stay, heel, down. He’s even walking off the leash beside me. He laid on my floor this afternoon beside me while I cooked dinner and even laid on the floor while we ate our dinner right in front of him and didn’t once get up to try and steal any food from the kids. He’s been amazing and he’s only been home for a few hours. This place will change your dog and the relationship with your dog that you have to be so much better and enjoyable. Before the training, we were so exhausted with frustration from a pup that we felt was near impossible to train and now we have a pup that we will work with and continue the trainings at home to build an even better relationship with. Highly recommend this place for board and train. They do unbelievable work and literally work magic on the dogs there. My lab is proof of that!

The whole staff makes you feel like you’re NOT there just to cough up money ! Denzel became really attached to his trainer and Steven made sure we got a picture of our handsome boy every few days ! He came back in great shape and I swear he doubled In size ! Denzel’s aggressions issues were extinct after two weeks of him being in their care ! The only thing that caught me off guard was the Mini educator E collar was not included in the board and train price.

Steve & Nick are amazing and know about dogs, really well. I have two 2-year-old Korean Jindo doggies. They get excited about small animals like cats/squirrels. Also, one bit another dog recently at the dog park that I was super anxious to teach the best manners ASAP. I had 3 trainers in the past, who helped us somewhat but honestly it was not good enough for paying thousands of dollars with no significant changes. They still pulled me on the leash that I wanted to come up with the best leash training for their and my own safety. Steve understood my situation and concerns, and accommodated our tailored training plan. Also, pinch collars were a new concept for me that I felt somewhat guilty and worried. I did not want to harm my own pups. I have tried the pinch collar on my own neck, and realized that it did not hurt as I thought so. Believe it or not, it helped my dogs, and they walked the best on the leash now. I DON'T have to pull or yank vigorously AT ALL. A tiny subtle small snap was the only thing needed. I probably had anxiety as well since the dog incident was not fun. Steve did not recommend dog parks in general. He gave some good tips. I recently introduced my dogs to other doggies (only 1-2 dog(s) at a time) and they did, well. Now, my doggies made some new furry friends and they listen to me better. I have become more confident, and I am not too concerned about our safety on the road about wild animals running around that my pups are trying to chase them. I enjoy my walking with them. My previous trainers always told me to walk them separately and to use treats to train my pups 24/7. I would love to, but it was not feasible. Steve's approach is different and much more reasonable. I don't have time and I live in the apartment that I can only walk so much. Until I move to a new place with a fenced yard, I had to stick to this kind of walking plan. Steve understood and I DID NOT have to walk them separately to help their walking and manners. Again, he will listen to you and understand your situation. Plus, he is a good HUMAN. He is funny and kind. Sometimes, we have to learn things that may not be 100% easy on us. It may not seem pleasant for you initially, but I think we need to see a bigger picture. The most important thing for me was the safety for my dogs, me, and others around us. My mom who is much tinier than me had no problems walking with them and they never pulled her and I did not have to worry about her falling. Trust me. I doubted myself and Steve at first. It was worth giving another shot. Thanks, Steve for your patience and understandings. I love my puppies and I want the best for them. With a bunch of other doggies around my pups, they stay tight, chilling. Steve, we will see you soon!
