Just picked up my hound mix and German Shepard from Can Your Dog Do This board and train. They stayed there for one month and I loved that we got to go every other day for the last two weeks they were there to train with them. I believe that what Steve and Nic are able to do with your dogs is truly magical. I would have never been able to have my dogs be so obedient without their dedicated work. I loved seeing the bond my dogs made with their trainers. After picking my dogs up from their last day we went to Tractor Supply to pick up dog food. I walked around the store for a minute and some lady came up to me and complimented me on how well my dog behaved. I never thought I would get a compliment on my dog’s good behavior. I feel confident in being able to bring my dogs out in public and can’t wait for all the things we will be able to do with our dogs now that they have completed this training!

I brought my 5 month old doodle puppy to Can Ur Dog Do This and she came home a completely different dog. She is so calm and well behaved, I truly can’t believe it. Even with two young kids in the house causing a ruckus she listens so well, in fact; she is the most well behaved in our house at this point, including humans 😂. I can walk her off leash and she stays by my side and sits every time I stop walking and waits for me to move before walking again. I can tell her to stay so I can help the kids with things and she lays down and stays until I tell her it’s ok to get up. I wanted to be able to have a dog I could take everywhere with our family and they absolutely crushed it out of the park. Even though they specialize in German Shepherds and Malinois, don’t let it fool you… I’m convinced they could train anything with four legs to be a perfect companion. The whole team is friendly and a joy to work with and obviously experts in their field, I really can’t thank them enough.

The team was awesome. Our Ava is now a joy to walk. She sits calmly on cars trips and hangs out around the house without barking at any noise that comes up outside. Ava is so peaceful now. Day and night from when we dropped her off for her 30 day board and train. Highly recommend Can ur dog do this. Cannot say enough. Surpassed our expectations!! Thank you The Murray family

Short version: the absolute best when it comes to training your dog - and you - so you get the maximum enjoyment from your dog. Cosmo is a 55 pound mutt who we took in as a stray. The biggest issue he had was getting excited about all the woods around our house, and taking off running through the woods in spite of us calling him. We first tried another board-and-stay training company that ended up terribly; I found Can Ur Dog Do This and based on some recommendations decided to let them work with Cosmo for a 30 day board-and-stay. Dropping off Cosmo for 30 days was tough, but Steve and the group promised frequent updates on their Instagram page, and availability through text messaging as well. Steve was as good as his word - frequent updates on Instagram, and if I texted a question I got an answer within a few minutes. The communication level is absolutely top-notch and professional. Starting at the 2 week point we got to see Cosmo out in public for walks. At this point it was already evident that there was a huge change in Cosmo - walking through a store or in a public park was like having a different animal. At one point a squirrel showed up in front of Cosmo, which normally would have led to him running off and us chasing him for a long time; instead, Nick gave him a correction, and then we were back to walking through the park. These times out in public are designed to show how the dog is progressing, but it's also a good time for the trainers to show you how to work with your dog. The real test is what happens when you bring the dog home, away from the trainers. This weekend - a week after bringing Cosmo home - we were able to walk him around our yard, off-leash, and he hasn't run off into the woods. We also spent some time Saturday just relaxing in the yard with Cosmo, and he did fantastic. Thanks to everyone at Can Ur Dog Do This - you guys are fantastic.
