Camp Lucky Board and Train (San Antonio TX)

We had an amazing experience with the three-week board and train program for Summit, my 1.5-year-old husky/shepherd mix. We worked with Angel G., and I couldn’t be happier with the progress Summit made. Summit came to us from a shelter and, while he’s a great dog, he was definitely stubborn when it came to basic commands, listening consistently, and especially recall. The difference after three weeks with Angel is incredible. His recall has improved tremendously, he listens to his commands much more consistently, and overall he seems much more focused and responsive. Angel did a fantastic job working with Summit and gave us a great foundation to continue building on at home. I also really appreciated the time he took to teach us how to reinforce the training so that Summit can continue progressing. It’s obvious that Angel genuinely cares about the dogs he works with and takes pride in seeing them succeed. I’m extremely happy with the experience and would absolutely recommend Angel and the board and train program to anyone looking for professional dog training. I’m excited to keep working with Summit and building on everything he learned!

Alexis was amazing! I signed my dog up for the two week board and train. She is an adopted 3 year old lab who had very little training and was very wild! She still has her energy, but the work Alexis did helped to calm her in every way- from greeting people and not jumping, listening better and going on walks (which used to be miserable). There is still more work to be done as she transitions from her training environment to home, but Alexis has provided me with the tools and support needed so my dog can continue to improve! Also, I really appreciated the report cards every other day with a ton of photos and videos so I knew what was happening. Could not be happier with the entire experience!

10/10 RECOMMEND!! Thank you Alexis!! My husband and I did the 2 week board and train program with Alexis! We have an 8 year old terrier mix and a 4 year old Golden Retriever. We are absolutely over the moon with how well the program worked!! Alexis truly cares for the animals she is working with and takes the training very seriously! She sends report cards out Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, and she is so detailed and honest! She lets you know where they are excelling and where they still need work. She attaches photos and videos of her working with your pets and it’s amazing to see! We met up at La Cantera to do some training and to show me how to work with them moving forward, Alexis made it so easy! She explained everything so perfectly and made it so easy for me to recreate the commands! She made me feel confident and so excited to continue their training at home!! We are so happy!!

We are beyond grateful for Angel’s wonderful work with our 6-month old Labradoodle Henry. We really appreciated the consistent updates with photos and videos during the course of the training so we could be a part of all of his adventures around San Antonio. Henry has been doing great and all of us have gained confidence through this process. It is apparent that Angel is passionate about training dogs and us owners alike. We highly recommend Camp Lucky to anyone looking for help training their dog!
