Camp Lucky Board and Train

Apollo recently completed the two-week board and train program, and I’m really happy with the results. Skylar did a great job working with him and made a big difference in his behavior, especially with his leash manners and overall responsiveness. Skylar also had great communication throughout the program. He kept me updated, answered all my questions, and made sure I knew how to continue working with Apollo once he came home. I’d definitely recommend the two-week board and train program to anyone looking for great results and a trainer who really cares.

My family had the privilege of working with Gabby at Camp Lucky to train our 10 month old Bullmastiff puppy, Marquis. He was a good boy who loved everyone, perhaps a little too much, and got far too excited pulling on us and jumping in his exuberance to get to everyone. After he took my mother to the ground and fractured two bones in her wrist being over 100 pounds by 10 months old, we knew help was needed. My biggest fear was exiling him to multiple weeks in solitary during training after a less than positive experience when he was a puppy, so I was drawn to Camp Lucky knowing he would be in a trainer's home instead of locked in a crate anytime he wasn't being worked with, also polishing up his house manners. During his two week board and train experience, we got wonderful videos and pictures of Marquis, helping to train us while he was training too. Our at home session was great in establishing a new flow and giving him a wonderful chance to show off all that he'd learned upon coming back to his home environment. We will definitely be back when he's ready for off leash distance training. He's become his best self since getting back and we could not be more grateful to Camp Lucky and Gabby!!!

I have a rather exuberant puppy, and I simply could not manage her. She actually pulled me down twice on walks and both times I was injured. I reached out and Gabby was the trainer that took my puppy for two weeks. She is so skilled and knowledgeable at training, and made a huge difference for us. She also gave me some wonderful tips and advice for managing behaviors. It was obvious that she cared for our puppy and our puppy definitely loved her! Camp Lucky made a huge difference for us.
