Camp K-9

We enrolled our male alpha dog for reactivity/obedience training. From the very beginning Camp K9 made me feel heard, offered great and constructive advice, training tips for me, body language to look out for and an array of techniques to try so there was a nailing down of the triggers for Bruce. All of the staff pours out love to not only my dog but all the other dogs at the camp. They keep a clear and open line of communication and well maintained facility. Bruce has made huge strides since being apart of the Camp K9 family. We are so thankful for this team!

I cannot say enough good things about this board and training program. From start to finish, the experience was absolutely incredible. The trainers were knowledgeable, patient, and truly cared about my dog’s success and well-being. It was clear they took the time to understand my dog’s personality and tailored the training to fit their needs. The progress my dog made in such a short amount of time was amazing. Not only did my dog come home with solid obedience skills, but I also felt confident knowing how to continue the training at home thanks to the clear guidance and support provided. The communication throughout the program was excellent, and I always felt at ease knowing my dog was in great hands. This program exceeded all of my expectations. If you’re looking for a place that delivers real results, treats your dog like family, and provides top-notch training, I would recommend them a thousand times over. Worth every penny!

I had a private dog training lesson with Alicia at Camp K-9, and I cannot recommend her enough! She is absolutely amazing — kind, patient, and incredibly knowledgeable. From the moment we started, she made me feel comfortable and confident, and she took the time to explain everything clearly and thoroughly. My dog Teddy responded immediately to her training techniques, and the results were truly impressive. By the end of the session, Teddy was completely obedient trained, and I could see a huge difference in his behavior. Alicia’s calm approach and expertise made all the difference!

I am the principal of a small elementary school in North Idaho, and we recently decided that adding a therapy dog would be a great support for our students and school community. Alicia Hall, a certified trainer at Camp K9, has been instrumental in making this vision a reality. She evaluated several puppies to help me select the right candidate, and our dog is now well on his way through training to become a certified school therapy dog. Part of his training includes regular exposure to our school and students, and I have been absolutely blown away by the excitement from students, staff, and families. It’s been amazing to see the positive impact he’s already having on our students and overall school culture. Alicia’s expertise and skill are evident in how quickly he is progressing, and she has been wonderful to work with; very hands-on, communicative, and supportive throughout the entire process.
