Camp K-9

They kept my dog safe and fed however I don't think we'll be back. All three times we had him there, he's come back covered in urine and feces and scrapes all over his arms and nose. I don't think they have the adequate number of staff to cover the amount of dogs they have. Update: I've started boarding my dog with Silver Valley Canine in Kellogg, ID, and it's a night and day difference with my dog. The second and third times staying at Camp K9, I couldn't get him in the door, he slipped out of his collar trying to get away. The new place, he is actually excited to go there- the second we get in the door he is trying to run and play with his new friends. It's amazing what a night and day difference there is between places that actually care and places like Camp K9.

I have been so impressed with the professionalism Camp K-9 provides and their undivided attention to both you and your dog. When I had concerns, they listened and addressed them immediately with top-notch customer service. My dog enjoyed going to training and day camp, especially seeing Verl, Molly, and Alicia. I enjoyed learning new ways to work with my dog to make life pleasant. They also send videos of what they worked on so I could follow it at home if needed. I feel our training was worth the investment. We definitely will be returning for day camps just for socializing and additional training. If you are questioning if you should invest in training both time and financially, it is worth every penny. A special shout out to our amazing trainer, Alicia, who made Daisy successful. Oh, and I can't forget Molly, who just became a trainer and will be very successful with her new clients.

I absolutely love Camp K-9 and their entire staff! Everyone is so friendly and always willing to give you updates on your fur babies. I have A German Sheppard and a EC Goldren retriever, that after 1.5 years decided they were no longer getting along, I called Nick right away and he came to assess the problem. Within the first few visits at camp k-9 they were side by side each other without fighting, I was so impressed!! Nick and his staff continue to work with Dasiey and Kami 2x a week and I have the up most faith that soon my dogs can be reunited at home, without having to be separated. Thank you Camp-K9 for your love, support and dedication to Kami and Daisey!

My Borderdoodle, age 10 mos., stayed at Camp K-9 while I was out of town and she did great. She was a little apprehensive at first, but quickly acclimated to her playtime with other pups; the staff was conscientious in placing her with other pups with similar personalities & temperaments, and they all played together well. The staff sent pictures of her playing, with was nice. They also followed my instructions on her meals that I had prepared which also made it easy for her to eat her normal food. Nick, the owner, also continued to work with her on her training which we have been doing for the past 8 mos. in order for her to receive her 'Canine Good Citizen' certification. I would highly recommend Camp K-9 to anyone needing boarding/training services for your dogs.
