Camp K-9

I highly recommend Camp K-9 for all your training needs! I had a puppy that was pretty close to unmanageable especially on walks. She drugged me everywhere. I honestly thought I would have to return her to where I got her. Camp K-9 was recommended by a couple of people so I looked into them. I got the pup signed up with Alicia and got the pup there as soon as I could. After just a couple sessions with Alicia I was able to get her to respond to my commands. She graduated basic obedience in May. To date we are able to get out and walk and have fun doing it! She just turned a year old and I am blessed to have her, thanks to Alicia’s patience with me and the pup!

My dogs and I love Canp K9!!! Several years back I got a diagnosis and was told that having a service dog would be beneficial to me. After my first one passed unexpectedly I was left with a brand new puppy and was back at square one. I met with a few different trainers in the area and couldn’t help but feel that Camp K9 was perfect for us! Alicia has been the main one training my girl now (Nick has been with us for a few things and is amazing too!!) but she has poured her heart and soul into helping us with anything and everything. There has been amazing communication since day one, and I have never felt more heard than when I’m telling her what i’ve noticed and what still needs work. She has multiple methods for when things don’t work the first time around and knows that training isn’t a one size fits all, but now she knows us so well that she can ace it every time haha. I am also very grateful for them helping us adopt a dog got left with them and no home. He is the goofiest, sweetest and most protective boy and if it wasn’t for them, I wouldn’t have him. I called her seeing if she knew of a dog that has protective instincts since my girl is too friendly 😂 and she happened to have our boy Smoke. They helped us every step of the way with getting him home and settled, taught us everything they knew about him, and continue to follow up to make sure we are still doing well. This is really long but my family loves Camp K9 and their staff, I can’t recommend them enough, and they have a forever client here!!!

Camp K-9 was recommended to us by our vet and also the people who installed our electronic fence. We adopted a 5 year old dog who had not been socialized and wasn't comfortable around the situations that were routine in our home. After our dog nipped at three of our grandchildren, we called them, met with Alicia and Nick, and were so hoping that any of what they promised was a possibility. After the first training session we were shocked to see what they accomplished. Four more sessions, including a visit to our home to assess our situation, and an outing with the trainer and her own dog, we were stunned to see what they'd been able to accomplish with our dog. Her training included socialization play dates at the kennel, where she played with the other dogs spending the day there. The combination of Alicia's training, the entire staff working with her, and the play days gave us a completely transformed dog. I'd give Camp K-9 10 stars out of 5 if I could. We're so very grateful for all they did to help us keep our dog with us. They are absolutely amazing.
