Working with Sue has been one of the best choices we’ve made for our puppy. We started training with her when our 4-month-old Goldendoodle, Bunny, was full of energy and had no idea how to slow down. Now at 6 months, she’s still her playful self—but with way more structure and calm.
Sue gave us simple tools that made a huge difference. She’s patient, clear, and really knows what she’s doing. Bunny responded to her right away, and we saw real progress each week.
We’re so grateful for everything Sue taught us and would absolutely recommend her to anyone looking to build a better relationship with their dog.

Calm Family Dog Training was by far one of the best decisions, not only for me, but also for my dog. Corazon went in happily as soon as Sue had the leash in her hands so I knew he felt safe. Although he’s stubborn, Sue was really patient with him and worked her magic. Corazon is still the same goofy boy but with new manners and better listening skills.

I highly recommend Calm Family Dog Training for your dog training needs. After just five sessions, my pup is able to recognize and obey every command he has been taught. Equally important, I have learned to see the world through my pup’s eyes. In the past, I sent other dogs to expensive camps where all the training was done for me and I received only minimal information about how to enforce the commands. Calm Family Dog Training, in contrast, helped me to strengthen the bond I have with my pup and use it to achieve good behavior and a calm and happy home.

If I wasn't involved, I would not believe how much training could improve my dog. It's like she is a different dog. I thoroughly believe dogs are easier to train than their owners. I highly recommend Sue for all your dog training needs.

Sue did an amazing job. Her knowledge of dogs, all breeds and ages is amazing. She listens to your concerns and questions and always has an answer for you. Her techniques are easy to understand and implement and in just 5 short weeks the change from the beginning of our training to now is monumental. I highly recommend Sue for any dog related training needed and will be using her again!
