We took our incredibly fearful adopted dog to two other trainers before finding Anthony and under his guidance our dog can now walk in a pack of dogs, go to the dog park, and attend daycare without issue. He went from being too nervous to even walk outside on the street to doing so with total ease. Anthony’s approach to training is very different than most of the trainers who just throw the dog a treat for learning to roll over. Anthony is interested in helping the dog learn the correct behavior without bribery and he instills the dogs with a sense of confidence under his guidance. Anthony at Calm Energy Dog Training has helped us understand, predict and manage the behavior of our high energy herding dog so that we can all live our best lives in the big city. When we first contacted Anthony, our shepherd mix had a strong herding instinct and was chasing bikes into traffic. We were nervous to let her off leash, which in turn meant she wasn't getting enough exercise. Anthony helped us get to the root causes of the behavior and correct it so that we can comfortably and confidently take her out and let her run and play with her friends. We have since taken both the on leash and off leash workshops -- and highly recommend them to all of our new dog owner friends.

Anthony is a great trainer. The reviews are true, the articles are true, the results are real. Very hands on with a well rounded approach to forming a language and connection with your pup. If this is something you are looking to achieve you’d be hard pressed to find anyone better. In just 2 sessions we’ve made huge strides in separation anxiety, leash pulling and off leash recall.
