By My Side Canine

I can not begin to tell you about my journey with Theresa, without first telling you that my fur baby Roxie (a Yorkie) passed away on February 7 at age 15 1/2. At first, the thought of another baby was unthinkable. But the longer I grieved, I felt a new baby would fill this big hole in my heart so I got a Morkie puppy, age 8 weeks and began a life with her. I am 74 and I have arthritis and chronic fatigue. It had been a long time since I had worked with a new puppy. Roxie II was extremely aggressive and biting me all the time; breaking and pulling the skin and causing me to bleed. She also bit my husband who is on blood thinners. After 5 weeks, I was at my wit’s end and not having the kind of relationship I wanted with Roxie II. I had purchased hundreds of dollars of toys and chews but she preferred my hands, arms, feet and clothes. If I tried to correct her, she growled at me. I began to search for help and found By My Side Canine, Theresa Cameron. We talked and she didn’t have an opening until the following week but because of my extreme distress, she agreed to come and get Roxie II that very day for a 10 day training camp. Without charging extra, Theresa wound up working with Roxie II for 14 days and brought her home on April 21st. She came to my home and worked with us a couple hours on procedures and commands. By early evening, I was exhausted and my fur baby had reverted back to her old self. She wasn’t biting, but she would nip at me. I had to keep her on a leash or put her in her kennel. I was taking her outside every 40 minutes or so to use the bathroom which she would do. However, she also went on the carpet, the sofa, the porch and in her kennel. I called Theresa in a panic as I wanted to rehome Roxie II. I had no choice but to give her up. Out of her love for animals and the goodness of her heart, Theresa came and got Roxie II about 9:30 p.m. and by the next day had found her a new loving home. She is going to work with the new parent in training. My heart is broken but I believe this was meant to be as I’m not capable of raising a puppy. Theresa is a true Angel and has a heart of gold. I’m very disappointed in myself and once again there is a hole in my heart. I do believe I did what is best for Roxie II and I will always love her. I highly recommend Theresa and By My Side Canine for your training needs. She is a wonderful, caring person and trains her charges with positive reinforcement.

I can't say enough good things about Theresa. She trained our precious Kobe so that's he's a part of our family! He was having some aggression and authority issues, and she invested so much time into him! Once he came home he was a different dog. A more enjoyable one at that! She is a wealth of knowledge on the science of dog training, as well as the brain of the dog. She knows her stuff, and I would do it all again in a heartbeat! Not only does Theresa work on the issues that your pup is having, she truly loves the dog and she becomes a trainer for life! We can call on her any time with questions, and she has gone above and beyond for Kobe. Not only has she given us back a better behaved dog, she's become a friend. I’m Chad Perkins the owner of BlackSheep Squad LLC. We are DOD Carry Contracior. In 2020 we acquire Xena she was two year old German Shepherd fully papered train by Teresa the owner of by my side Canine. I believe when you have a K-9 like Xena. With love a family, kids and I mean little kids of six months out and raised up with a baby. In 2021 my wife had surgery on our back Xena was train by Teresa and I Continue training her I was training her from family to work. This was the other training that I believe in what does the K-9 choose. Because in family training the find out what they catch something that you do not catch. Like low blood surgar and sepsis in my foot that August 5and 6 if we Paid attention. And she save my life on the six August. The training that Theresa does then the training that I put into Xena again. Then Theresa trained her a little bit more on shaping. Not knowing in what Anna was doing my wife but shaping her to. Making Xena cautious of Anna and I was going through. Anna on 29 July. Xena was with her woken up Anna‘s best friend bye punching her in the face. With her nose and then licking her and then ran back to Anna then Anna called out Amy. Because she needed help. So the help in the training that Theresa did the owner by my side canine. She’s a respectable owner of her company. I respect her as a person and as a handler, trainer. And if I had or going to get another puppy. I would definitely send it to you by my side canine.

Im happy to say that the service Theresa provided is of the highest quality. And, the care she takes to get the job done is just astounding. My wife and I sent our young knuckle-headed Pomeranian Sophie to her for her 10 day program. She wasn't quite ready at the 10 day mark (Reminder: Knuckle-Head), so Theresa allowed her to stay at no extra cost until she felt it was a good time to send her home. She sent back a completely different dog. Personality wise the same, but behaviorally 100% different. I just couldn't believe it. She communicated very well, She explained very well what she was going to do and did exactly that. And, shall I say at a very good price considering my pups behavior.
