Bull Run K9

Casey at Bull Run K9 has been so great for us and our new puppy! We were certainly in over our heads and he really helped make sense of everything we needed. He helped us figure out what we needed at home, and when the pup went in for board and train, we got daily pictures and videos of all of his progress, and a "report card" with lots of personalized training info we can continue to use for the dog. We highly recommend!

After researching several dog trainers, speaking with many, and reading countless reviews, we ultimately decided to work with Casey and his Bull Run K9 team. Our dog, Rocky, had significant issues socializing with both people and other dogs. He would growl at visitors when they came to the house and, although he eventually settled down, it often took a long time. We were constantly worried that his behavior might escalate and lead to him biting or injuring someone. When Casey first came to our home to meet Rocky, the introduction didn’t go smoothly. Even after spending about 30 minutes with him, Rocky was still very aggressive during their walk. We were initially concerned that this might not work out, but decided to give Casey and his team a chance. We are so glad we did. After working with Casey, Rocky returned to us as a well-trained and obedient dog, while still maintaining his loving and playful personality. Throughout the training process, Casey sent us daily videos and encouraging updates. The progress we saw in Rocky’s behavior, especially in public spaces, was unbelievable. We never thought we’d be able to take him out in public without stress, but seeing the bond he developed with Casey gave us hope. When Casey returned Rocky after 12 days, he spent over two and a half hours explaining the methods we needed to use to maintain Rocky’s new behavior. It was a lot to take in, but Casey reassured us that with consistent practice, we could achieve similar results. He made it clear that he would always be available for questions or concerns, just a phone call or visit away. Casey’s expertise in dog behavior is unmatched, and he knows exactly how to communicate with both Rocky and us. The results speak for themselves—it’s been a huge success. We can now take Rocky out in public without the fear of an incident, and life with him has become much more enjoyable and less stressful. Our boy Timon had a lovely time at the boarding camp. He met good friends, enjoyed lots of pets and attention, and most importantly, learned so much! We were initially concerned about his ability to learn because he's not a pup anymore, but he proved us wrong. We are really proud of him! Casey is great at sending daily updates, which helped a lot whenever we missed Timon. This really differentiates the service from many others that we've looked into before. We can tell Casey cares about our boy a lot, and Timon was sad to say goodbye on the last day.
