Casey did an amazing job with our dog Ralphie who is a Dachshund/Pitbull/Boxer mix. Ralphie can be very reactive and at times has shown aggression. Casey worked to instill a confidence and obedience in him that we were unable to do on our own. The structure that Casey has been able to provide in such a concentrated and focused effort for Ralphie was key in resetting him so that he could return home with a more settled and calm demeanor. Our family is committed to following up in providing the consistency that Ralphie needs to ensure continued success. Ralphie whined when Casey left which is an indicator of the bond Casey is able to create with these canines during his time with them! The daily progress videos, photos, and updates that we received from Casey certainly made our time away from our pup much easier and made us feel very involved in the process! Casey also is very responsive to questions and inquiries which I’m fairly certain I gave to him on a daily basis as I thought of things! 😀

I’ve been putting off writing this review simply because I wasn’t sure how words could truly capture how incredible Casey at Bull Run K9 is! From the very beginning, Casey was a joy to work with—straightforward, kind, honest, and extremely knowledgeable. Our 2.5-year-old dog, Koda, stayed with Casey for 11 days this summer in the board-and-train program. Before training, Koda struggled with excessive barking, separation anxiety, and stranger aggression. Throughout the program, Casey kept us updated with daily texts and videos, which gave us so much peace of mind. When the program ended, Casey didn’t just hand Koda back to us—he spent hours teaching us how to communicate with Koda using the new skills he had learned. A week later, he even came to our home to reinforce the training and make sure everything was going smoothly. The results have been nothing short of life-changing. Koda’s behavior has improved 100%, and our relationship with him is stronger than ever. Our only regret is not doing this program sooner!

We enrolled our 14 month-old rescue pup, Buster, in Bull Run K9’s 12 day Board and Train camp, and the results have been incredible! Buster came to us with some anxiety and typical puppy stubbornness—especially when it came to walks—so we started the program hoping he’d pick up just a few helpful skills. Casey’s training went far beyond anything we imagined. Not only is Buster now more confident, but he’s also responding beautifully to the commands he learned with Casey. The daily updates, complete with pictures and videos, gave us so much piece of mind and let us watch his progress in real time. I am beyond happy that I chose to have my German Shepherds complete their first board and train with Casey. Although, my oldest has been through training before, she definitely needed a good refresh on the basics. My giant puppy, did AMAZING and I’ve noticed a huge shift despite him still having a bit of puppy brain. It was a huge relief to get tons of updates and photos at the end of each day they were away. The communication and patience have been beyond amazing since the moment I requested a consult. Now it’s time for ME to put in the work and gain confidence with continuing the off leash work.

We are absolutely blown away by the incredible transformation our two rambunctious miniature poodles underwent during their 2-week intensive puppy board and train program with Casey at Bull Run K-9! We saw videos of them showing great recall and obedience outside in various weather, and even happily frolicking in a local creek – a testament to the confidence and reliability Casey instilled in them. It's clear that Casey treated our puppies as if they were his own, providing them with immense care and a structured, loving environment. His own pack of dogs also played a crucial role, acting as wonderful teachers and mentors to our young pups. The transformation in just two weeks has been astounding, and we're so excited for the upcoming in-house sessions where Casey will train us on how to seamlessly integrate all this newfound "goodness" into our daily lives.
