When my puppy gets all his shots will it be okay to start training
Hi Sandra, We offer a puppy preschool class for undervaccinated puppies 8-16 weeks of ag. The medical requirement are that they must have received their first distemper/parvo vaccine and ten days must have passed since it was administered. You must also provide us with a copy of a negative fecal test result indicating no parasites were found in your puppy's stool. We sanitize our entire facility and equipment used during the class with Rescue, a veterinary hydrogen peroxide based cleaner before each preschool class. For puppies who have completed the series of puppy vaccines and have their rabies vaccine, we have a puppy kindergarten for puppies 4-7 months of age.

I have had the pleasure of working with Kim for both of my dogs. Building Bonds is an incredible place where you will grow in your relationship and connection with your dog, but also in your awareness as a person and in the person-to-person relationships. She encourages you to observe your dog and take a very positive and strength-based approach to training. I cannot say enough about the gift that Building Bonds is to the Tucson community and animal owner community. I took the Sniff to Calm class and within 5 weeks, my Lab is more confident and comfortable as a member of the family. Everything that Kim taught us in class, I am able to put into practice in our everyday experiences with true success! I truly believe that everyone who is a dog owner should take at least one class at Building Bonds (although you will definitely want to sign up for MORE classes!)

10/10. We had an incredible experience getting my dog trained for socialization, and I can’t recommend Kim enough. Her patience, expertise, and intuitive understanding of dog behavior is the gold standard. My dog has separation anxiety, and while this particular class doesn’t address that behavioral issue, Kim took the time to understand his personality, offer gentle guidance, and give us practical tips we could use at home. My dog has greatly improved in following commands and we are so glad we chose Building Bonds!
Kim at Building Bonds is a caring and compassionate dog trainer located in Sahuarita. She is a Fear Free certified trainer and has a genuine love for her job, her clients, and the dogs she works with. She helped us learn valuable positive reinforcement skills for managing our reactive dog.
