Buckeye K9 is very familiar with the therapy dog training class as well as the therapy dog certification test. Buckeye K9 prepares the dog and the owner by training both on the necessary capabilities required for the therapy dog training class and certification test. After a period with Buckeye K9, you will graduate out of Buckeye K9, ready to enroll in therapy dog classes that culminate with a therapy dog certification test.

Yes! They can do service dog training. I highly recommend Lori and her staff for any training needs. I've use her a few times and have recommended to friends who have had awesome results. In fact, her business has my newest member of the family as I write this!
My dog Abbey does great with commands in the house and did good outside until a couple months ago. Now she wants to bolt when you take her outside, what can I do?
We would want to put off leash control on your dog so if she tries to run off you can have full control of her and call her back to you.
Do they help with older dogs who have behavior issues as well as potty issues?

Yes, we can definitely work with older dogs. However, they may take a little longer to help fix if they have had bad behaviors for many years and have gotten away with things so long.

When I dropped my 75lb pit bull Rocco off, he was dog reactive, unresponsive to commands, pulling on the leash, just a lot of dominance and control issues. The price at first seemed like a lot but I can honestly say the 5 day program was worth every penny. It has been a few days since we picked up Rocco and he is a different dog. He is pleasant to walk, he stays on his bed when asked to and listens to all my commands now. I was texted daily updates which I really appreciated knowing he was doing okay. I can not recommend BuckeyeK9 enough. At the end of the training they even offer a free follow up if you find you are having trouble with the commands. But know that it is on you to continue the training! They give you a great base and work with you and let you know how to keep your dog trained.

Lori helped us out when other trainers said no or take your dog back to the pound. I used her before with another dog and had amazing results. Our second dog we used someone else because of price and the result was no where near the same. Right now she has our third dog because the price is definitely worth it. She really cares as well. Amazing place!
