I would give them 10 stars **********! Within 20 minutes Christine had my Yorkie Poo making eye contact, walking with her and sitting when Christine stopped walking. She has a talent and gift with dogs. I am blown away by what I saw at my consult and cannot wait to start training with my stubborn Cocker Spaniel. As a dog lover, I saw first hand the love, respect and devotion shown to my dogs. When I walked in, I was exhausted and frustrated. When I walked out, I cannot fully express how happy and relieved I feel knowing my pups and I will be in sync. I highly recommend a visit to them!! S. Taylor ********** 5/17/25 - editing my review. Christine was great for the two training sessions I had with her. She unfortunately stopped training in Mantua and referred me to Blaze. I had one session out of a 10-session training package. Twice Blaze was supposed to show up at my house at 8am and twice no show/no call. First time he said he forgot the appointment. Ok, it happens. Second time a co-worker went to the hospital. I get it, but no call to tell me he wasn’t coming. Christine was to take over at that point. It has been a month and I have heard nothing. Christine is a great trainer but I can’t seem to get anyone to show up. It is for this reason I would not recommend this company to train your dog - unreliable.

I highly recommend Bucks Dog Training, especially Rebecca. I had always been concerned about a “board and train” program (would he be mis-treated; would I pay a lot of money and it not work; would he return home a different dog – lose his personality, etc.), but I was also concerned about certain situations with my furbaby, Frankie. He had been socialized as a puppy and did well with people and other dogs. He was also always very loving, excitable and high energy. A few years and a couple of moves later, he had less interaction with other dogs and started to become reactive by barking at (and sometimes pulling towards) other dogs every time I took him in public. In addition, he was very distracted and stubborn at times. He did not always listen when he was distracted, and his recall was almost non—existent. I was very worried that in the event he accidentally got out or got away from (he is also very strong), he would not come when called (he could get hurt, get lost, get hit by a car, etc.). He still loved people, but I wanted to be able to take him to more places without worrying about him barking at every single dog. And since he had so much energy, he could also use a refresher in some other manners, like stay and not jumping or trying to sit on everyone’s lap. I tried in-home training, but he was too high energy, distracted and stubborn at times he didn’t always listen. Two weeks with Rebecca and he was a different dog (in a good way). He’s still Frankie. He is just as loveable and funny and still likes to do things in his own way, but he listens. He will come when you call him (we continue to practice) and he is much better around other dogs in public. Rebecca did a lot of great work with him and picked up on his little quirks so she could teach me how to better understand him and make recommendations on commands. She kept in touch daily with text messages and videos. She answered all my questions. As a side note, Frankie has daily medication for allergies, Rebecca made sure to follow his diet and give him his meds. I watched all the hard work and effort all the trainers but in. I watched Frankie grow more confident and learn to listen to the commands but stay his wonderful goofy self. We are so grateful! Joanne and Frankie
