My fiancé and I adopted our Great Pyrenees named Drama in December of 2022. Shortly after adopting him, we noticed severe behavioral problems and extreme aggressiveness with food and treats and resource guarding. We immediately started to reach out to several companies and no one was willing to work with him, until we found Ed from Buck’s Dog Training. After first speaking with Ed, he assured us that Drama would be trainable and that he would be able to correct his behavior while also providing him with the basic commands and training which he didn’t have before. When we dropped Drama off to Ed, he discussed with us the goals and expectations that he had set into place which would be beneficial for Drama and us. Drama was apart of Ed’s 3 week boarding and training program. Ed was consistently keeping us updated with what he was working on with Drama. He provided us with videos of Drama’s daily trainings and objectives. Ed also brought Drama home with him each night and continued to work with him “off hours”. Ed communicated with us all throughout the program, daily, hourly, and weekly. He answered all of our questions, provided us with resources, and explanations. When we picked Drama up, Ed discussed everything he worked on with Drama. He walked us through everything and showed us the training that Drama went through step by step. Ed helped train and walked us through each command and helped correct us when needed so we could continue training at home, which was extremely important and beneficial. 10/10 recommend Buck’s Dog Training with Ed! The communication, assurance, and outcome was a 5 star! We felt so comfortable knowing our dog was safe and in good hands. We are so relieved and comfortable with continuing Drama’s training. We will be continuing to send our dog to him in the near future. Ed, thank you for all your hard work, patients, consist communication, and professionalism.

Our mini bernedoodle was nearing one year old and despite working with him at home on our own, we were still having issues with impulse control. On walks, when we encountered other people and sometimes other dogs, Kobe would pull nonstop and turn into an uncontrollable “spazoid”! He also couldn’t be trusted to be alone in the house even for a few minutes for fear of him finding something and chewing it up. We knew he was smart and would “sit” and “come” but only when he wanted to. We found ourselves having him spend way more time in his crate than we wanted. After much research on our options, we chose to work with Ed at Buck’s Dog Training of South Jersey and we couldn’t be more pleased. During our pup’s two week stay with Ed in his home, Ed would send us videos, pictures, and text updates so we could see Kobe’s progress. When we picked Kobe up after the program, Ed spent abt an hour with our entire family giving us all a chance to practice walking and commands with Kobe while Ed was there to help guide and give us tips. Now that Kobe is home, we continue to practice with him and Ed checks in with us to see how things are going. Kobe is much calmer now and listens to us as easily as we saw him listening to Ed on the videos. In fact, we haven’t had to put him on lead in our unfenced yard and it is so freeing to have that level of confidence in Kobe. He’s spending much less time in his crate as he now knows “place” and will stay on his cot when we need him to. He also doesn’t jump on visitors anymore. We have another trip planned soon and have decided to board Kobe with Ed (he only boards dogs he’s trained). It was obvious to us that Kobe loved being with Ed and that he was very well cared for while with Ed and his team.

I have a rather large dog that was not to keen on strangers. Actually we couldn't even have a guest in our home because he wanted to eat them. I was confused because other wise he was a pretty good dog. No aggressive behavior other than that but being a 100 plus pound Mastiff puppy that was enough. He also didn't always obey commands consistently. After two weeks at Buck, Wally was returned to us a brand new dog! While he is still protective of his family, he knows how to dial it back and behave like a good pup. Also with continued training he obeys all commands. BUCKS IS THE BEST! OUSTANDING PEOPLE! GREAT PROGRAM!

Buck’s Dog Training has changed our family’s life. We have an Australian shepherd that was very wild and unable to calm down and listen to commands. Ed took her for 2 weeks and she came home a much happier and calm dog. Her and our quality life has completely changed. We are able to take her out and enjoy our time. I would suggest buck’s dog training to anyone. Great communication, videos of progress every day and great results. We are more than grateful for Ed and the training.
