Hunter is the absolute best! We’ve sent our first dog to him for boarding for the past few years, so, when we got a puppy, we knew we’d be sending her to him for training. Both dogs love him so much! He takes great care of them while they’re at the kennel, and our puppy came home a brand new dog! If you’re looking for a place to send your pups while on vacation or wanting a fantastic hunting dog, I couldn’t recommend Buck Country more! We will be bringing all of our dogs to Hunter from here on out.

He was able to fit my dog, River, in on short notice. I had tried doing bird and gun training myself, but when she was a bit nervous around a .22 at a distance I decided I needed help before I made things worse. So I had Hunter do his two week bird and gun introduction course with her. Hunter not only helped her get over any gun shyness, he got her extremely exited about birds. He was very transparent about the process, and sent a couple of updates on how she was doing when she was there. The weekend after I picked her up, I took her for a walk for some pheasants just to see how she would do, and she found two beautiful roosters for me! She also found them after the shot. Couldn’t have asked for a better first hunt!
