Brush Up Training

I met Heather when my puppy was only a few months old. I loved her training style so much and she really helped me know what to use and how to motivate and train my dog. (Not harsh...but with treats, love and lots of encouragement.) My dog is now going on 5 years old and I have maintained my friendship with Heather. My dog and I joined a group called Zen Dogs that Heather started with several other people we met through pet training and for 4 years we have been taking our dogs into Assisted Living and Nursing Homes. Our dogs love people and like to do tricks for treats...the residents love our visits and our pets love the days they get to go 'to work'! I highly recommend taking your dog to Heather at Brush Up Training regardless of your pets age. One of the main things I learned from Heather was to have a 'key word' that no matter what your dog is doing....they want what you have! My dogs word is 'cheese'. She is small and she likes to climb under our fence and cross the street, or go and visit the neighbors horses...all I have to do is ask her if she wants a piece of cheese and with a smile on her face she comes running to the door!
