Brownell Canine Training

I want to give a shout out to David A. Brownell. He's been helping me with my very high drive GSD puppy. I can say you never stop learning as a handler even after almost 17 years of SAR and 2 amazing partners, one who is still going strong at almost 9. Neither were or have been your typical "high drive" working dogs. In choosing what i feel is my last partner , i wanted a really high drive well bread working GSD. I also decided to get a male which id not trained before. I Love BOLO Cezar Z Zachranca. He is exactly what i wanted. Lovable, very stable, off the charts smart dog with endless energy and drive. He was easy until he hit 9 months or so i wasn't ready or prepared but thats on me. I though and tried the same things i did with my first 2 and learned really quick this boy was different. I wasn't consistent with teaching boundaries. Tons of reasons but i had to own it as BOLO decided he decide his boundaries if i didn't. So i went to David to help me with a 13 month 95lb dog was being a teenage punk. I've been seeing David for 1 on 1 training for about 6 weeks. We still have work, but BOLO is not the same dog a brought to him 6 weeks ago. He's learning whats expected and getting paid when he does it. I can't thank David enough for his help and the teaching of his methods so i can be successful each week and come back better. We will keep working and BOLO is going to be so different and better than my first 2 in his own unique way. I'd recommend David to anyone looking to improve there skills with there dog or working through challenging problems.
