Brookside Pet Training Studio for Dogs

Great puppy ( and owner) training using a gentle, positive approach. Barb & Lindsay understand puppies, their habits and motivations both early on and as they get through their “teenage” years. We attribute our wonderful puppy behavior to Brookside, the weekly classes, and the constant reinforcement we received each week. I strongly suggest you go weekly with consistency. Your puppy (and your future self) will thank you. Build the right foundation and it will pay dividends over the entirety of your dog’s time with you.

Barb at Brookside is incredible. We have enjoyed attending her classes with our. Puppies. Having her guidance with training our therapy dogs, having her temperament test our puppies in our breeding program for our families and seeing our puppies go home to their families and flourish in her classroom and beyond. You will have to look pretty hard to find a better place to bring your puppy to train and socialize. She is an exceptional trainer and animal behaviorist. I recommend her to all my families as the best possible place to train your new puppy , your therapy dog and canine family member

We just signed up our pup for Kindergarten 2 after completing Brookside Pet's preschool and kindergarten classes. Barb is a phenomenal teacher and our pup has grown so much thanks to her. He started classes as a shy pup, afraid of trying new things, and she has helped him become the best version of himself! I highly recommend Brookside Pet Training to everyone I meet. We can't wait to continue our classes this fall.

If you're looking for puppy classes, look no further!! Wanted to get our 12w puppy into classes ASAP and Collar Club was booked for several months. So very lucky that we were able to go with Brookside Pet Studio instead. Barbara is FANTASTIC and the way she has structured the class packages is incredible. We first did Puppy Preschool, where our pup learned look, sit, down, and come. And we were so happy with the results that we booked Puppy Kindergarten, where our pup learned place, stay, heel, extended recall, and the basics for loose leash walking. Our puppy always gets so excited to come into the building - her favorite part is playing with all her puppy friends after class! The way you schedule is so convenient. When you purchase a package, you can schedule/reschedule classes online which is super helpful when you have to miss a class. There are also zoom training classes included, which was great considering we have two other dogs at home and needed individual guidance with potential puppy issues with them at home.
