FirstBarkEmily has been an amazing resource for Rocky Mountain Lab Rescue. We have used her skills with our dogs and assessments of dogs considering bringing into the rescue. She has been a valued resource for me on consulting about dogs in the foster home and a thought partner. Her podcast, Pod to the Rescue, has been super helpful on navigating rescue.

Emily is a lovely, kind person and a fantastic trainer. I have had several foster dogs in the last few years, and a foster fail. Emily is very knowledgeable, and her training focuses on building trust and positive experiences for each dog. I’ve seen them all grow in confidence and become much happier dogs, even when it may have seemed like a tough challenge initially. I highly recommend Emily.

Our organization has a foster dog with some behavioral issues and with Emily’s help we were able to address her issues and get successfully place her in a permanent home!
Emily is the real deal. There are so many people that claim to be dog trainers but Emily actually gets dogs, understands their behavior and is excellent at redirecting them appropriately. She is also so skilled in helping the owners work with their pets making for a harmonious relationship. I highly recommend her! Five stars all around!
