My yellow lab loves it here!! When we get to the gate, she is excited because she knows what is to come. There are other dogs for her to play with and it is a welcoming scene. It is fully fenced so you do not have to worry about anything, and she loves to play with the other dogs and learn to behave around all of them. We were so lucky to have found this place and have boarded her there many times and will continue to do so.

We enrolled our German Shepard, Nia, in Kimberly's 3 week boot camp. She was our first German Shephard, and like most, she was a hand full. She wasn't a mean dog but reacted when approached by strangers. We wanted her to listen to us when given commands. First of all, we really appreciated the fact that Kimberly came to our house to pick her up. It would have been really hard for us to take her and leave her with someone we didn't know. My husband and I were both received a very good first impression of Kimberly. Her initial handling of our dog inside our home was very good. That was really important as it made it easier to allow her to leave with her. It was easy to see that Kimberly knew what she was doing. Kimberly kept us updated over the 3 weeks with Nia's progress. When Kimberly brought Nia home she had on a training collar. Kimberly spent time with us making sure we had a good understanding of how to use it. She then spent time going over voice commands and how to include them with the collar. The collar was a game changer. Kimberly came back to our house twice for follow up. She reviewed Nia's (and our) progress. She ensured we were doing the right things. Today, Nia is a MUCH better dog. Her interaction with people is much better. If we are going to unfamilar situation or with strangers, we do continue to use her training collar. We have since used Kimberly's boarding sevices to board Nia when we had to travel for our daughters wedding. That went well. We highly recommend Kimberly and BrightStar!
