Ty was amazing! From the very first visit, he helped us guide our sweet puppy with clear communication. Each time we met with him, we learned a new tactic, and he helped our family prioritize consistency. We see huge behavioral improvements, and even better than that, we now know what to do to set clear expectations for our dog in the future. We’d recommend Ty to anyone training their dog. He’s outstanding!

I reached out to Ty shortly after bringing home a Standard Poodle puppy that I very quickly realized was going to be quite the handful (very smart but also a little stubborn and VERY high energy!) Ty responded very quickly, answered all of my (many) questions, and gave me some immediate hope as he was able to get my puppy to sit in her crate with the door closed for 10 seconds (a record!) within the first session. I decided a few weeks later to send her to Ty and his assistant Laura for a board and train to help with her separation anxiety, crate training, and leash skills. She came home last night and I was totally blown away by her progress particularly on the leash. She went from being a nightmare to walk to much more of a pleasure in just two weeks and I am so excited to keep working with Ty and seeing more progress! Laura sent regular picture and video updates with what they worked on that day and a report card of her progress. It was great to be able to feel like I knew what was happening and how she was doing throughout the process and it was clear they cared for her like she was their own. As an anxious puppy mom I felt super safe having her in their care and when she wasn't making the progress we all wanted we discussed alternatives before they made any adjustments to their strategy. I'm so pleased with their methods and the progress they were able to make in a very short time. Thank you Ty and Laura for taking such good care of my girl and setting us up for success!

They single-handedly reshaped the behavior of our extremely nervous rescue that we were worried we’d have to rehome.. thankfully they gave us an honest, optimistic outlook, all the tools we needed to help redirect her behavior, and a refreshing approach to how we could strengthen our bond. I’m happy to report our pup is an irreplaceable member of our family and we are all so much happier now! Ty is the best trainer out there. Ty has been more than a dog trainer, he has been there for me through the entire puppy phase whenever I had a question or needed some advice. Before I even got my dog, I called Ty and listened to him as he talked through his methods of teaching, and calmed my worries and getting a puppy. He listens and creates his training program around you and your dog. He also takes notes and always has great product recommendations. I highly recommend Bow Wow Behavioral! I started seeing progress immediately using Ty's methods. And a bonus, my dog loves him!

If I could give more than 5 stars I would! There are a lot of trainers/information out there. For our pug puppy (Ozuna) we wanted him to feel comfortable and learn basic puppy training skills at a fair price. Ty and Laura are hands down the best. From start to finish, my experience was excellent. They communicate with you as the owner along the way, they are patient with your pup (and you as the owner with questions). They know what they are doing and are compassionate. I couldn't believe how quickly Ozuna caught on to training. Ty provided detailed notes after each session to help us work with Ozuna as well. It is a process that takes time, but now we feel we have the tools/foundation to have a well behaved dog in our family. We are fortunate to have connected with Bow Wow Behavioral and plan on continuing to use Ty and his team for future training and boarding when needed.
