Bonin Dog Training Center

John and Andre area great, knowledgeable team who have a great understanding of dogs and their instincts. After careful research and multiple calls with other boarding facilities, I settled with Bonin due to their knowledge and capacity. Other dog boarding facilities either put a bunch of dogs together (dangerous) or lock them up in a kennel for 20+ hours a day, with limited interaction with humans. My dog breed requires stimulation, physically and mentally. John has a proven track record of training dogs. He assured me that my dog wouldn't be locked up all day. He regularly let my dog be his companion during his day to day activities, and exposed him to external stimuli like noise, smells, and other dogs. Andre's "training log", a shared note that provided real-time updates, photos, and videos, was also a great additional service. I got to see updates on my dog and see how much he was enjoying himself at Bonin. I would recommend John and Andre if you are looking for serious dog people to care for your dog. They will ensure your dog is stimulated, trained, and safe. Thank you!

I put my Cane Corso through basic obedience training with a trainer from Lake Charles. After his training was over, I was having a little bit of issues because he kept reverting back to not listening, come to find out his previous trainer had blocked my number. I gave John at bone and dog training a call and he told me he could get my dog back right.After some time, we finally saved up the money and brought our dog to him for two weeks and then we had a family emergency and I couldn’t pick my dog up on the scheduled day. Andre and John graciously kept my dog for an extra few days free of cost until I could get back home and pick him up. My dog respects me now as an owner and listens all the time rather than when he only feels like it. I would recommend bone and dog training to anyone.

I rescued both of my dogs, off of the street. One of them (Icarus "Icky") is a highly anxious ball of energy that struggled with respecting personal space or being able to calm down enough to listen to any commands being given. The other (Lily) is a big (strong), clumsy ball of sweetness, and she struggled with paying attention/not being stubborn. John and Andre practically gave me back two brand new dogs that are calm, confident, and capable. They did an amazing job of not only giving my dogs the baseline training primer they needed, but also giving me the tools (through their handler's course) to continue reinforcing what they've learned and teaching them new things. I am beyond satisfied with the care and training they provided. Great work gentlemen!
