FirstBarkStu is a dedicated and amazing dog trainer who has helped me make incredible progress with my puppy who is being trained as a therapy dog. He is patient, professional and skilled. Training is done privately or in groups, in parks and town squares; places you would take your furry friends. Stu trained our puppy and I can’t recommend him highly enough. We constantly get compliments about our dog’s behavior and disposition and it is truly to Stu’s credit. He is so invested and will do whatever it takes to get your dog to be her best. Under his guidance our dog has a Canine Good Citizen certification and also ready to pass the Therapy dog test. Stu treats us and our dog like we are part of his own family.
We went to 3 different trainers before finding Stu. None of them were able to assist us in successfully training our German Shepherd puppy. After 5 weeks in Stu’s program, he is a totally different dog. 100% obedient, well behaved, calm and responsive. Highly recommend his program over any other trainer in the Chicagoland area. You won’t be disappointed

We started taking our pup Mayaken when he has 4 months old. He arrived to our house at the beginning of the pandemic, and we did not have the chance to be with other dogs or people. He started to be nervous and kind of aggressive with other dogs and people coming to say hi during the walks. Since the first training with Stu we started to see results, he really helped us to understand how to train and treat our dog. We still have work to do but I can tell that was the best decision we could take. We gained a lot of confidence and now we really enjoy the walks with our dog. I highly recommend Stu as a trainer, he has a lot of knowledge in dog training and he really commits with you and your dog and having his dogs training at the same time than yours helps a lot with the social skills of your dog.
