Bold City K9

When my 11 year old Aussie and 3 year old staffie started being aggressive towards each other we didn't know what to do. We sent our staffie to Bold City for their boarding and training and it has been a life changing experience. She know has recall and discipline which has allowed us to repair her relationship with our older dog. It was not an easy process and sending her away for 7 weeks was very stressful but I have zero regrets. She is home now and doing amazing!

Dakota did such an amazing job training our sweet Harley! Before working with Dakota, Harley struggled with leash walking, had little to no recall, and her world was pretty limited. After all the hard work, patience, and dedication Dakota put into her training, Harley’s life has completely expanded. She can now enjoy evening walks with us with zero issues and confidently join us in public places and on all of our adventures. We are so incredibly grateful to Dakota for giving Harley the skills and confidence to experience so much more of life. Her world is so much bigger now, and we get to enjoy every adventure right alongside her. Thank you, Dakota, for everything you’ve done for our sweet girl! ❤️🐾

Cannot say enough positive things about bold city k9. Shout out to our trainer Dakota! Our babyboy Moose was not a bad dog to begin with but with the right guidance he bloomed into something greater. His recall is outstanding and his energy bursts can now be controlled through the discipline taught by our trainer. Besides the fact that our dog is so incredibly trained, Dakota did an amazing job at staying in contact with us. Pictures and videos of our boy’s progress and even just tips on how to adapt training to his personality. We’ve also had multiple follow ups since we’ve gotten him back home! The knowledge and adaptability for these dogs will not be found better at any other company. This is the most effective and positive experience I’ve ever had the pleasure of having. Thank you so much bold city k9 and especially Dakota for the wonderful services you continue to provide!

I cannot recommend Bold City K9 enough! We got an 8-week-old golden retriever puppy and we didn’t fully understand what we were getting into. We thought we would be able to train her on our own but quickly found out that would be a disservice to us as well as our dog. We took Tala to Bold City when she was about 16 weeks old and she stayed with Brit and when we got our dog back it was a completely different dog! (In all the good ways). We weren’t stuck with a piranha who would never listen but a companion who would listen, be able to walk off leash, and have perfect recall all while still having her unique personality! Working with Brit was incredible. When we looked at other board and train places, it seemed more like an operation on how many dogs could be there and trained as quickly as possible while with Bold City, Tala was able to stay with Brit and have personalized training. It felt like she was just staying family instead of at a massive boarding facility. After 7 weeks we now had a dog who was the best friend we could’ve asked for. Next time I get a dog, I know for a fact the first thing I’m going to do is reach out to Brit and see when she’s able to train a new pup, it’s life changing!

Winston is the second pup I have taken to bold city K9 and as always they did a great job! We’re not done yet though because Mr. Winston will be going back to finish his training with Alyssa in a couple of weeks, but already he comes when called, knows commands like “place” for extended periods of time, and down etc. On top of their extensive training they also have follow up lessons and the trainers are always a call/ text away. I never felt out of the loop while he was away either, I got texts, and could follow his progress on instagram as well. My main goal was to be able to take Winston with me in public without worrying and I also wanted help with potty training. I’ve followed bold city k9 for 6 years though and have seen the work they can do to correct bad habits in dogs as well. I highly recommend bold city to everyone, and trust me, a lot of people ask after meeting Winston.
