About BlueDog
BlueDog is here to provide your dog with care, companionship, and training throughout their lifetime. Husband and wife team Chris and Kim own and operate BlueDog together. They share a love for dogs, so opening a dog walking & training company came very naturally to them. BlueDog offers dog walking services as well as group classes and private in-home training for dogs of all ages.

My husband and I started taking our puppy Ozzie to classes at BlueDog when he was 4 months old. As a board certified behavior analyst, I knew I wanted to find a dog trainer that utilized positive reinforcement and this led us to BlueDog. Their trainers are extremely knowledgeable, seem to genuinely take joy in teaching, and have great insights on training, socialization and enrichment. Our puppy is now 9 months old and last week we took him to the South End in Boston to SoWA outdoor market. He didn’t jump or bark our entire outing. We went to an outdoor cafe for lunch and he confidently and happily laid next to us on the patio watching dogs and people go by. Of course he still acts like a puppy and he will continue to need training as he matures. But, BlueDog has provided us with the structure and exercises to help him develop skills to be confident and comfortable in the world.
Chris did a phenomenal job working with my tough guy! I have been very happy and been getting a lot of compliments on how my little man is doing. Chris not only understood my concerns but also addressed Willy’s and did a great job explaining in the moment how my dog was feeling. Just trust the process!
