Blue Sky Canine has been a game changer for our family! We have 3 golden retrievers who were pretty much out of control. Happy, sweet loving dogs. Sadly, I was never able to walk them on leash because they pulled so hard and I couldn’t compete. After the time we spent with Austin learning and working hard with our boys, I can now walk each one of them with ease! I’m forever grateful to Austin for that. I’m sure they are, too. We have had an outstanding experience with Blue Sky Canine, specifically Austin. He has embraced our puppy Labrador, Tukker, as his own. Not only has he worked to leverage Tukker’s natural temperament while teaching but he has also made sure we fully understand how to take care of Tukker with grooming (mail clipping) techniques etc. Tukker is very comfortable with Austin and easily transferred his learning of commands to us. Tukker is fantastic on leash, he is trying hard (he’s a puppy so not perfect;))to listen when other distractions like dogs are around plus his grasp of typical commands such as “sit” and “down” are spot on. Our favorite new trick is “place.” Tukker will stay on his dog bed for a very long time even when there are temptations that arise. We are finishing up the at home portion including field trips and expect them all to go as well as the foundational teachings he has learned already. I HIGHLY recommend Austin and Blue Sky Canine.

I was recommended Blue Sky Canine from a work colleague. I have a very smart and loving golden, Honey, who is being trained to be a therapy dog. Austin did an evaluation and recommended Ryan. It's a match made in heaven. Ryan is training me as much as Honey and seeing the growth in us both is rewarding. You have to be willing to put the work in and do it constantly to see the benefits.
