FirstBarkAmanda is without a doubt one of the most natural “dog people” I’ve worked with! My pups were instantly accepting of her and responded so well to her techniques and advice. She’s gentle and patient which meant I had no trouble trusting her with my puppy. The sessions are catered to individual dog/family needs so there was no time wasted. Highly, highly recommend giving her a call!

Amanda is remarkable. Our Golden (Bella) was very territorial and doorbell sensitive. She would bark and chase deer along fence line and unresponsive. THAT all changed FAST. In short order Bella has changed for the better. She still chases deer, but if I call her name, she immediately comes. I don't even need to correct her outside. We are still working on 'Place' but she has improved significantly and making real progress. We are very pleased to offer a big FIVE STAR rating and welcome any queries.
Amanda is wonderful. She responded immediately after I left her a message. I was nervous as I have a GSD, but she put me at ease with a plan and the training has gone better than I could have expected. Amanda communicates during and after training. Amanda is my go-to for all things dogs! Not only does she have a deep knowledge about dogs and dog training, she truly LOVES dogs and helping them learn to be their best selves! She has been an invaluable resource, not only with my personal dog, but with several of my foster dogs. When one of my adopters decided to bring a second dog into their family and the two dogs didn't get along, I referred the family to Amanda. Under her guidance, the dogs are doing great and working towards a more peaceful coexistence. Bottom line: If someone asks me to recommend a dog trainer, Amanda is the one I refer them to! You and your canine family members are in great hands with Amanda!!
I reached out to Amanda for my dogs aggression issues and anxiety. He is a rescue and had a pretty awful history with his previous owner. He’s very timid and protective of me. With Amanda’s help, I’m able to be confident in him around new people and other dogs. She gave us all the tools we need to make sure that everybody is safe and happy. 10/10 recommend if your looking for a trainer!!!
