Blue Cord K9

This spicy little meatball (Hildie) was having some trouble not being so spicy. Especially when it came to people being in her space. Larinda came in and helped us correct a lot of things we were doing wrong, as well as gave us the tools and guidance to help us help Hildie be more comfortable in her own skin and her own space. Larinda was super patient with Hildie and met her at her level while still being firm. She helped us set realistic expectations for behaviors and put boundaries in place. Can't thank her enough.

Blue Cord K9 is absolutely amazing my trainer Tay has been on board with me since day one. Not just as a trainer but as an instructor so it wasn’t just my Doberman being taught properly and efficiently but me being taught how to keep her along the flow to have us both be taught to our highest potential. There were some rough patches but no excuses were made and things all worked out as they should have because of the patients and no need rushing anything but most of all as we continue to finish Mrs.Tay will not be seen just as and instructor but as a family friend and a blessing not just to me and my Doberman because now she’s moving on to service dog training to be my seizure assist dog but to all of the dogs and puppies she trains ik they will strive and reach beyond their goals and to the Blue Cord K9 business I just want to say thank you 💯❤️

Love working with Tay who has now become such a great friend and mentor. She’s taught me and my special needs pup, Maggie so much in such a short time. She’s helped us navigate Maggie’s disability from day one and I’m so thankful. I had no idea what I was doing being a first time Pitbull owner and I am now confident in myself and Maggie. We go on off leash walks and Maggie is a happy girl. Maggie knows when her Tay is coming and waits at the door for her. Tay has also helped me control my little 9 pound beasts (chihuahua and Shih Tzu) and has helped me to socialize them. I trust Tay and Blue Cord K9 with all of my dogs.

We started working with Blue Cord a few months after we adopted our German shepard mixed pup. He was constantly jumping on people and furniture, pushing my little kids down and was super nippy. We were excited to start the training and couldn't have picked a better organization to go through. We got Tay as our dog trainer and I can't say enough good things about her. On day 1 of training we already saw improvements and were impressed. Tay is awesome, she had an abundance of patience for my 4 kids who are sometimes off the walls. She also made sure we understood the training package we signed up for and what to expect through out. I really enjoyed the fact that it's in home training so my dog could be corrected and trained while encountering the everyday distractions. I love the print outs for each day so I have a reference to go back to after Tay left especially because I forget so easily. I was all for whatever tools were needed to help train my dog and really appreciated the thorough explanations given for the prong and e-collar because I had no clue how to properly use either of them. Anytime I had a concern or asked if we could work on a behavior I wasn't sure how to correct, Tay made sure we walked through it. She would demonstrate how to properly correct, heel or loose leash walk and then have me and my husband practice so we really grasped how to do it. It was great being involved and having my kids be involved in the training process instead of sending my dog to be trained and then trying to figure out how to accomplish it in our everyday lifestyle. I highly recommend Blue Cord and know I will be continuing to use them even after we finish our basic training.
