When Jason Ross came to pick up his dog from my kennel, he spent a total of 30-45 minutes at the “go home” lesson to learn what Penny had been taught in the past four weeks. I inform the client beforehand that when they come to pick up their dog, to allow AT LEAST 1 ½ - 2 hours to train with their dog. Jason NEVER came to visit her, NEVER inquired about her training and as far as I knew, was not a bit interested in how Penny was trained.<br>The only time I heard from Jason Ross was in a text, after his wife and I had a phone conversation in which SHE made extremely upsetting and TOTALLY uncalled for remarks to me the minute she answered the phone. <br>When Jason arrived at my kennel, I attempted to speak to him to tell him I was very sorry that his wife had gotten so upset during our conversation the previous day and he immediately shut me down saying “Let’s talk about Penny.” I thought that was extremely rude when I was only trying to diffuse what could have been an uncomfortable situation.<br>My contract states “Owner understands that his/her participation in follow-up lessons, included in the training fee, is essential to the successful maintenance of the obedience training and behavior problem management. Owner also understands that kennel will provide two follow-up lessons within 6 months of classes as needed, at the mutual convenience of the Kennel and the Owner.” Of course, I have not heard from these clients to provide additional help in the training that Penny was taught; instead I have to find out through a review that they are unhappy.<br>There is absolutely NO way to please these people.<br>
