SARAH! She is the BEST! Our boy Harley needed some TLC with his training. His food aggression was getting bad and he was starting to challenge my husband with dominance issues so we had no choice but to send him away for an attitude adjustment. After 5 long weeks, we got Harley back today and I’m AMAZED. He is so enjoyable. We took him to Home Depot and he was such a good boy! The work and dedication she put into Harley really shows and I couldn’t be happier now that we are able to enjoy him. Thank you, Sarah.

We rescued our Belgian Malinois mix, Will, when he was 6 months old. He always struggled with anxiety, especially with car rides, but we managed it for six years. After moving to a new home, he developed severe separation anxiety that led to destructive behavior. My husband and I were at a loss for what to do. We reached out to Blackheart K9, who gave us thoughtful advice and even encouraged us to try re-crate training on our own first. When that didn’t work, we knew we needed professional help. I was heartbroken at the idea of sending him away for 4–6 weeks, but after reading so many excellent reviews, we decided to move forward. From the moment Ally arrived to pick up Will, I was reassured. She spent an hour with us explaining the process while I cried on and off. Will was immediately comfortable with her—he even lay at her feet within minutes! He hopped into her car crate without hesitation. Throughout training, they sent us regular updates with photos and videos, and it was clear he was in caring, expert hands. After five weeks, we met Ally and CJ to pick him up, and the change was remarkable. Will was calm and relaxed in public, something we had never seen before. Now, four weeks later, he’s truly transformed. He rides in the car without whining, goes into stores like Michael’s and Petco calmly, stays in his crate without destroying anything, and waits for our direction when the doorbell rings. He’s even less anxious during storms and fireworks. We are forever grateful to Blackheart K9. This was the best decision we could have made for him. We’ve already decided our next dog will go to Blackheart early on. Will is even boarding with them for our upcoming vacation—I know I can relax knowing he’ll be in such good hands. To anyone with an anxious pup wondering what to do: trust Blackheart K9. It’s hard to let them go for training, but it’s the best thing you can do for them. They will be in amazing, compassionate hands.

I cannot recommend Blackheart K9 enough! I chose them because of their perfect 5 stars on Google, and they deserve every star! It’s tough to know who to choose to train your precious pup, but we made the decision to go with Blackheart and couldnt be happier. They answered every one of my many questions. I spoke to Sarah, our trainer, for a while on the phone before we even paid our deposit. Sarah was amazing and worked wonders with our 1 year old Irish setter. Irish setters are notoriously hard to train, but Sarah brought us back a completely new dog. She’s confident and capable, and she listens so well now. She’s still our sweet princess girl, but with manners. Sarah is calm and laid back, and I think that transfers onto the way she trains her dogs. I could tell our dog had a great relationship with Sarah as soon as our girl got out of the car. We have nothing but good things to say about Sarah! She sent us updates frequently, along with photos and videos. She was available at any time during training, although we didn’t reach out much because we knew our girl was in good hands. Sarah picked up and dropped our dog. She stayed with us for a few hours so we could practice the commands and feel comfortable with the e collar. Highly recommend Sarah with Blackheart!

Ally and her team were absolutely amazing with my German Shepherd. Meg came to them with some leash aggression and social anxiety and they really helped manage these behaviors. They send you YouTube videos that help show you the skills they are teaching your dog weekly and a very comprehensive drop off session at the end. Ally left my husband and I feeling confident that we could manage Meg’s behaviors moving forward. Forever grateful for the love they gave Meg during her stay and how they continue to check up on her. 💕
