After having my pup home for a couple weeks and feel I have all I need to write a review. After he has been home and back into his everyday life prior to training we question everyday if we got the same dog back. He is night and day and absolutely the best pup now! We sent out 9 month old German shepherd pup to train with Vanessa she was absolutely amazing she kept us updated with photos and videos daily and up-to-date on all his progress or set backs if he had any. When we sent out pup to Black Heart k9 he had a 5% recall if we were lucky and was just all over the place with energy and he lacked alot of confidence he was a nervous pup and unsure of anything new. We couldn't believe the dog we got back was the same one we sent. He has been put into situations where before he would have been uncontrollable or gone and run from us. Now I can put him in a down or place for extended periods of time and he can watch dogs walk by and play or kids run and he won't move untill he is given the command. We are so greatful for the time and patience Vanessa put into our boy and can take him everywhere without worry now. Now not only so we have a pup who is well mannered and listens but one we can enjoy taking places and not be stressed or worried about it. Not only has his training given him confidence but it has given us the confidence we need to give him the life he deserves and enjoy it out in public with his family. Thank you so much!

We rescued a shepherd puppy who was extremely hyper, and had no understanding of commands or house training. He was About four months old time of his adoption, so we were not sure exactly where to begin. With five cats in the house, it was a challenge. Blackheart came highly recommended, and they lived up to their recommendations. The dog is completely compliant, happy and actually cuddles up with the five cats that he once chased. Couldn’t be more pleased!

I Needed a trainer for my 6month old Akita I was apprehensive about her going away for 2 weeks but when Scott came to pick her up all of that went away he was great with her and me we discussed what I wanted her to learn he told me how he would teach her and it was a great experience for her and me she has more confidence in her ability and I have more in mine to be able to continue the training he did he is a great trainer and a good communicator he keeps you up to date with videos and text I am very satisfied with his skills he will train her in the future I trust him completely I thank you and Ally for taking such great care of my Nicki I appreciate it so much thanks again me and Nicki Marcia Herren
