Our family says 5 stars for Black Oak Retrievers! We showed up on our first lesson with a wild, untrained bird dog. By the end of the first class, Julie had our dog responding to commands and not yanking us around on leash. By the end of all classes our wild bird dog was turned into a very manageable family dog that we can take off leash and let him roam the yard without fear of him bolting down the road. He responds to commands and she still customized our lessons so we also have the option to train him for hunting one day, too. Overall, the lessons were vital in learning how to communicate with our ever growing, always energetic puppy. We are very appreciative to Julie and her lessons! Highly recommend.
