Birch Valley K9

Where to begin!? Tommy and Allie are amazing! We have a 1 1/2 year old doodle who was in his own world and lacked manners making it really difficult to take him places and for him to be a part of our out and about lifestyle. We started doing some research with some guidance from our vet on what to look for when selecting a training program, which led us to Birch Valley K9 for thier 3 week board and train! We drove 1.5 hours to have Jax attended Birch Valley K9 because of thier style of training and openness to us stopping by and actually being a part of the training program as well. They were so great communicating with us how Jax was doing and his victories as well as his struggles. At this point Jax has been home for 2 weeks, his behavior and attentiveness is night and day difference. He obeys our commands and is a dog that is manageable, making life more enjoyable for all of us- including Jax! The investment into the training is something we will be thankful for and never regret for many years to come!

We have used Birch Valley K9, Allie and Tommy, for daycare and obedience training for Maia our 3yr old GSP. Their facilities, primarily outdoor with areas to run, allow us to pickup a tired dog at the end of the day, and a tired dog is a happy dog. Our experience with the obedience training program was impressive. The time and effort they put into her training and ours help Maia, my wife and I, to be successful in our continuing training at home. We are truly grateful for the knowledge and expertise both Tommy and Allie extended to us and to our 8 month old Golden Doodle. The 3 week board and train program as well as the one on one sessions were just what we needed to address some obedience training, improve leash walking and improve our dogs confidence. Any and all questions we had were answered and great advice was always given to set us up for success!
