Big Paws of the Ozarks is a dog rescue and training facility located in Northwest Arkansas. We offer high-quality, individualized dog training services to the public. All proceeds from training support our rescue efforts where we rescue, rehabilitate, and rehome large breed dogs in our community. As a foster-based dog rescue, all of our dogs get to live in loving homes while awaiting their forever homes. Our physical location is used for our public dog training services and rescue operations.

I adopted 3 weeks ago and the coordinator is still engaged with me and how Tilly is settling in with her new family. I am excited for one on one training and leaving her next month for the 2 week board and train program.

My wife and I had our 4 year old Griffon, Hank, trained by Big Paws. We have 2 young kiddos that he loved to play with but he didn’t realize how big he was. His recall was rough and he would jump on visitors.
After 2 weeks with Reilly, Hank is a new dog. We gained so much knowledge of how Hank thinks, acts, responds and can be worked. Reilly also gave us amazing insight on food, ways to teach and play, breed knowledge, and constant updates on Hanks progress. I’m so thankful for the work and training that we received and that Hank received. 10/10 would recommend to anyone that wants their dog to grow, learn, and behave.

The train and board program with Marshall was awesome, our dog is so well mannered and listens so well now. He’s doing so much more than we asked and he’s so excited to show us his work. Marshall is the man, super nice and very smart about making sure we know how to move forward with our little friend.

Super happy and thankful for big paws! One for finding our handsome and silly griffin and then for helping us make him the best version of him through their two week board and train program. Chris was great with him and really helped griffin come out of his anxious little shell. Would def recommend them a thousand times over!

I found Big Paws after a traumatic situation at our home involving two of our babes (lab and shih tzu) I reached out to Matt first, who met with me two days later. I was a HOT MESS, and Matt put me (mostly;) at ease. If I thought Matt was great, I was in for the next treasure who came in the form of MARSHALL. When the day arrived for me to drop my girl off for her two week re-set, Marshall met me outside with the biggest smile on his face. He pretty much breezed past me to go straight to my girl and he started loving on her immediately. Any fears I had were put right to bed. The next two weeks were met with daily texts and videos. I can't say enough good things about this organization. I guess the only thing is I wish is I had come earlier. Thank you for everything!
