Big Hair Dog Training Services

Big Hair Training & Boarding is the only place I feel comfortable boarding my behavioral dog. Jessica truly knows and understands dogs. My lab that takes forever to warm up to new people was sitting in Jessica’s lap by the end of the week while boarding with her. I drive almost 2 hours just to board my dog with her because of the comfort I feel while my dog is in her care. I can’t say enough good things about the service that is provided there!

When our rescue group had a dog returned who had been adopted as a puppy and kept for four years without training or socialization until he finally had a bite incident, Jessica took him in and commpletely turned him around by focusing on what both his brain and body needed in order to thrive. She has helped up with special needs dogs and behavioral cases, each emerging from her program happy, healthy and rehabilitated. I highly recommend her process and program. I truly believe there is no animal she can't help!

We have been working with Jessica for a couple months now and could not be happier. Our 2 year old recent rescue dog, Jake, is fear reactive and our prior trainer was not giving us the right advice. Jessica has made such a difference in our ability to property train our dog. She is personable, tells you how it is, isn’t afraid to step in and show you how it’s done and her experience really shows. Most importantly, we are seeing progress. Could not recommend her more!!

I can't begin to say how incredible our experience has been with Big Hair Training, and the owner, Jessica & her pack of training dogs! They have done so much work with our 6 month old rescue, and every week she takes the time to educate me with her progress, and what I need to be doing! Having only had one "pocketbook" dog who weighs less than 5lbs, I also needed to be trained along with our 6 month, almost 50 lb lab/bully mix! As I've learned from Jess, there is no "one size fits all" when it comes to dogs and training, and what might work with our smaller dog will definitely not work with our bigger dog! We were lucky to have found her, and she took our shy and easily spooked baby and brought her confidence out as she develops into a beautiful "teenage" dog! She sends me photos and updates throughout the day and is there WHENEVER I have a question about anything!! And being fairly priced is an understatement- the personalized training both our dog AND our family get seems like we are getting wayyyyu more than what we pay for! I would adopt a dog from here in a second, because I know how much hard work, dedication and love she puts in to bringing the best out of each & every dog/family who crosses her path!!!!
