About Big Basin Dog Training & Boarding
With over a combined 75 years of experience, Gary and Peggy Park have assisted people with their dogs. Dog boarding with and without dog training is offered. Excellent care and training for your loved pet includes obedience, problem solving, police training, search and rescue, and some personal protection. Both Gary and Peggy were former national competitors and regional champions of IGP (International Working Dog competition). This is a temperament test for breeding which exemplifies the experience and knowledge behind Big Basin Dog Training and Boarding services provided.

How much does it cost to train a dog not to be aggressive or bite
Not sure but am paying $300 for obedience training. My dog is not aggressive.

I just called to discuss potential Boarding and Training of my new puppy. I was just explaining why I was in the need so he would understand the last minute nature of the call. He said “Can you just get to the point”. Sorry but that is not how you handle a potential customer or any customer. I will not be talked that way by anyone, let alone someone I plan to pay for services. I will never contact them again. I don’t know how anyone deals with them.
Went to take my pom to get some training. The first day was 10 minutes of training. My dog has never really barked ever and now he doesn't stop barking. The other 2 hours were spent on the trainer talking about my fiance's car. Overall he basically told us he didn't want to train our puppy! Zero stars!!! $75 for NOTHING!!!!
If you wanna train you puppy or older dog this is the place to go. I took my dog to another place before coming here and it was a horrible experience. Luckily theres still hope for my little guy thanks to big basin dog training.
Love them. They are old school and no nonsense so if you’re sensitive, look elsewhere but they are great with our Vizsla and German Shorthair. Love them. They are old school and no nonsense so if you’re sensitive, look elsewhere but they are great with our Vizsla and German Shorthair. We did training with our Vizsla and would have with r GSP but Covid hit so puppy classes were suspended. They are our boarding of choice. The house is on site. They are all about the animals. And yes, as I’ve seen in previous posts, they have their own runs which are 6 x 20. Inside/out and climate controlled You can combine your dogs if they get along and save a few bucks a day. Give them a try.
