Do train in clinet's home or do you take the puppy to your facility and train intensively over several weeks?
Thank you for reaching out! We offer both in-home and Board and Train options. However, our Board and Train pups do not stay in a facility - they stay with the trainer in their home! This allows us to customize training in a similar way as our in-home programs and reduces stress on the dogs as they are treated as a member of the family!

After contracting Parvo at 5 months old and staying isolated for weeks on end, my puppy Luca became very reactive towards strangers and other dogs. Her issues caused me so much stress every time I needed to go out, even with all the research I had done. Thankfully, Shyenne was able to help Luca gain confidence in and out of the home, and making it so she can meet new friends with confidence again! Shyenne made it so both my dog and I could go about our day to days with significantly less stress and anxiety. I’ve already recommended Beyond the Dog and Shyenne to my friends and family, and will continue to do so with all the compliments Luca has received throughout these last few weeks as well as during her training!

Beyond the Dog was recommended to me by my former vet about 2 years ago after noticing that my pup, who’s now 3 year old, seemed very distressed about going to the vet amongst other behavior issues that I’ve wanted to address for a long time. I hesitated then because their training programs are expensive but 2 year later and l can say that if you can afford it, it’s well worth it.

Long overdue review. I used Beyond the Dog in 2022 to help my GSD rescue with barking at and jumping on guests. Also, with loose leash walking and not reacting to other dogs she sees on the road.
While my GSD was perfectly behaved when the trainer was here, her behavior didn't improve when the trainer was not here. When I shared a video of the behavior with the trainer - the trainer suggested I pay even more money to do more lessons. The original amount of lessons I purchased didn't help my GSD and they wanted me to pay more?
Additionally, I went with Beyond the Dog because they used positive association training. I didn't want to use e-collars. But the trainer was really rough with my dog. To teach my dog consequences they dragged her on leash to a bathroom numerous times. You could literally hear my dog choking and fighting it. How is this method of training any better than using e-collars? It seems pretty inhumane to me.
I wouldn't recommend them. Waste of money and the company ended up being very greedy.

I can't say enough about Ben and how he was able to turn our energetic puppy with no basic obedience skills into a well-behaved dog. Beyond the Dog Puppy Package is the best investment you can ever make for your dog. In a 5 week span my dog is sitting, staying, not jumping on people and is able to lay down and stay while I am at a restaurant. Unlike many other agencies, Beyond the Dog does not use fear or shock collars to get your dog to be obedient. I thoroughly recommend Ben!!
