Working with Kirstin has been incredibly beneficial. Kirstin came highly recommended by my vet. The tools and resources she provided were key to finding success with my dog, Luna. Luna was showing signs of anxiety and reactivity and the resources and training Kirstin shared has gotten us to a much more manageable point. The hard work and time we have spent on training Luna is starting to show, and I couldn't be happier with the progress we have made in a rather short amount of time!

Being experienced dog owners, we had some behavioral challenges with our 2yr old English Springer Spaniel that we hadn't encountered before. We set up an appointment with Beyond Obedience and Kirstin took a lot of time to get to know all the facts and history. After applying her recommendations to help us modify our routine and behavior, it has made a major positive difference in correcting the issues we were having. Extremely positive experience, and would recommend to anyone who has challenges that they just cant seem to work through with their dog.

We relied on Kirstin of Beyond Obedience to help us prepare for and adjust to welcoming an 8-week-old Doberman puppy into our home. The guidance, resources, tools, support, and validation she provided was key to helping our family adjust. Her methods are evidence-based, humane, and have helped me develop a positive, team-based relationship with my dog. One of the most helpful things she did, though, was just normalize and validate how difficult new puppies can be - and that I wasn't failing as a dog-mom. The information she shared about dog development was crucial to helping me and my husband understand and work with the pup instead of against him. My husband and I were having some trouble with our rescue chihuahua mix, Zoey, and we weren't sure how to address these issues. We contacted Kirsten from Beyond Obedience, and she was able to teach us how to correctly train our new dog. Kirsten is vey knowledgeable and professional, and taught us a lot about how dogs think and why they behave in a certain way, and showed us ways to get Zoey to respond to our training.
