FirstBarkBeth was fantastic and helped us during an awkward time with our family lab she worked on Ivys thunderstorm trauma as well as training her to be desensitized to departures! We are thrilled for the three months she worked with her and now Ivy is happy and thriving with our college daughter in LA!!!

Beth took our very active and strong Lab pup, Huckleberry, and turned him into the dog of our dreams. We sent Huck to boarding school with Beth and he learned to walk without pulling on a leash, to sit, stay, lie down and come on command. We received regular updates and videos from Beth and he was so responsive to her sweet kind voice and firm commands. I can't recommend A Better Companion Pet Training enough. Beth is a wonderful trainer and all around good human.
Beth is Amazing with dogs. She has helped train at least 3 of my dogs. The latest being Rudy. She is very calm and patient with the dog and the dog parent. She will help you with any behavior problems with sage advice. I can’t imagine taking my dogs anywhere else. She is always my first recommendation!

Five stars aren’t enough! Our vet suggested Beth to train our 7 month old Schnauzer, who was full of energy & strong willed. Beth initially came to our home & after a couple of visits suggested that 2 weeks of extensive training would be helpful. We agreed & 2 weeks later we had a different dog. Beth’s training techniques are positive reinforcement coupled with praise & care. Her rates are very reasonable. She was responsive to my calls & text messages. Beth did a follow-up home visit to “train the fur baby parents” which we appreciated. We are so grateful that we engaged Beth to train our Tucker & recommend her highly.
Beth is amazing! I found my first dog wondering the roads. She was a fairly large dog who must have had quite a story. I brought her to Beth for an evaluation. She was able to give me guidance for her behaviors as well as what to expect as my new dog adjusted to her new home ❤️
